thick plot, superb acting from emilio garcia. others failed to impress. i would have preferred coco martin for the role of the lead. cinematography was well.. too cinematic. lines given to michael de mesa and sid lucero seemed to fit them more in real life. they were too "burgis" for the role. michael quoting bible verses in his "Repertory" accent did not do much justice to his role as chief warden. same w/ sid, who used words like "grabe" & "tsong" while working as a farmer in a barrio?

uu nakito ko to sa tv kagabi at ang ganda ng film... salamat sa mga gumawa ng film na to!!! astig talaga... sa mga d nagustuhan ang film na to sorry nalang but i really like the movie.. the story.. the cast.. thumbs up chong!!!

this is the 2nd time i post a comment about Sid's latest indiemovie, the first one in Donsol and i like the way Sid's give justice to the role. sadly i just watched this teaser trailer, can somebody donwload it in full version, would appreciate it a lot!!but seeing alone this movie trailer is just enough to give good credits to Sid's one of his finest performance to date. No wonder he got the 6th Gawad Tanglaw Award for Best Actor because of Sid's innovative & versatile acting skills.

I already have reservations on watching digital films by Filipinos. They dont know how to condense their shots and the storytelling usually drag you to sleep. There was nothing new and extraordinary in Pagdadalaga. Compound was non-sensical.

i saw the film with my wife too during the premiere. we agree it's one of last year's best films. it does take its toll (a little bit) on your patience, but despite the length, the film really moved us. really thought-provoking. and ang galing ng cast!
