Ann and Nancy are reported to be big fans of Led Zeppelin and have done the best covers of Zep you'll ever hear. I think Heart doing 'Battle of Evermore' is better than the original. Anyway, Jimmy Page really made the mandolin into a rock music instrument and Nancy likes it also.

Nancy and Ann Wilson .. Heart .. The name of their band is so appropriate for the type of music they produce. Their beautiful voices and unique harmony; the musical arrangements, especially their acoustic recordings; and lyrics that are deep and speak to the heart, make them part of that rare group of musicians that get better with time. This is what music, real music is ... not the synthesized garbage that covers too much of today's airwaves. These women, truly amazing, are the real thing.
