If you approach one of the "Regular" lodges, then no women arent allowed to join, the regularity part comes from days of old when to be a regular lodge there was a male only rule.

However these days there are many masonic organisations (like the order of the eastern star) that are solely for women or for men and women together and work the identical ceremonies as the male only lodges, so yes these days women can become masons too.
