@Cropalot212 Hi, thanks for your comment. I'm sorry, I don't know where you can find scenic rust in the US - I live in the UK but I'm sure there are similar products available to you.
@lmjacobs Hi, it's an embossing folder that I used - works with most die cutting machines - You open the folder, place your cardstock inside, close it and run through your machine. The pressure allows the pattern on the folder to leave an embossed design on your cardstock - There are lots of videos on YT showing how to use embossing folders if a visual would help. :-)
I am most impressed with your videos. And I don't know how you get your cam like that but it gives us a fantastic birds eye view of each step. Wonderful. You're a marvel!!! And most appreciated.
Rach, that is absolutely STUNNING... Just can't believe how you take pieces of card etc. and turn them into metal! Alchemy or what??? Got to try this! I love the design, and your use of all the different materials. I agree with marymarydel that you are an amazing artist!!! Off to subscribe to your channel!
I was nodding off here then I watched this and now I'm buzzing!! fantastic Rach, I wish you'ld publish a book about all the different media and how you use it, I'd buy it in a flash!! Thanks for sharing.
Wow Rach, what an artist you are.........what an asset you are to us! You are so creative and I always learn something new from you about techniques and products alike. Fabulous! Thank you!
@plumlicorice The mouldds are by Krafty Lady - If you are in the UK, The Stamp Bug stock them, If you are in the US After Midnight Art Stamps is the supplier, or Austrailans can buy direct since they are an Aussie company :-)
What a wonderful project, thank you for the tutorial. I wanted to give this a try but am having trouble embossing my light weight card board. What machine are you using? Help!
You are a truly awesome artist! I find myself watching your video's over and over again. The products you use have inspired many a trip to the craft store and searches online. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. Forever a fan!
Rachel girl. You are fantastic. Never a boring tutorial. I love your work. Such inspiration. Thank you, thank you for sharing... big hug for you. Maria xooxoxox
Rachel, You are sooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!! Yes there are a lot of talented artists in the world, but your art work is just so special and unique - extremely appealing. Thank you for sharing a part of yourself with us. You are top dog in my book. Susan
@ScrapPaperQueen Hi Susan, I put my moulds in the fridge for a while before taking out the clay, that way the clay if firmer and doesn't lose it's shape as easily. Also, if you're moulds are made of silicone, you can put them into the oven with the clay inside and de-mould the clay once baked. I've never done this myself though, I always use the fridge method. Hugs, Rachel
Your mind never stops. You keep on going but know exactly when to finish. This is a big WOW and what a ingenious idea for making your own hardware (and cheaper too!).
@genuineyes I just use water to clean my brushes, since most of the mediums I use are water based. I have old brushes however dedicated for using with rust solution as these never become clean again.
I love all of your work, but I must say this is my favorite thing you've done. I'm not sure why, but I just love everything about it. You've gotten me into those molds. JIL
Rachel you are my absolute favorite artist on Youtube!!! You just amaze me everytime and inspire me!!!! This project is stunning!! You re soooooo talented!! TFS!!!
Another great video Rachel, thank you.I'm amazed how great the Krafty Ladies work with FIMO I've only used them with air dried clay but the FIMO seems to give a much finer effect. Love having the old tune back too!
