@RedCanadaHat11 When you are finger spelling your lip patterns should match your fingers with corresponding facial expressions when signing to add character and intensity to your hand shapes - sorry to be so negative!! but you do have some BSL word order - - -
@BSLcatherine Thank you Catherine that's so nice of you to say. It wasn't an easy Level to do, lots of practice at home. Only about half in our class passed I think and just one went on to do Level 3. I think i'd have to repeat level 2 before I do level 3
I'm 17, fluent in sign language. I start my level 2 course after the summer, as I've grown up in a deaf community, I'm so glad I've had the opportunity to have BSL as a second language so to speak. I hope I pass... Your signing is so clear, I got every single bit of it. :) Are you going on to do level 3? xxx
Hi :) Great video. I've just finished Level 3 BSL. Your pace and flow is good, though you might want to use more NMF. This vid is a year old now....did you go on to do Level 3 too? x
Thanks - I watched this in prep for my own BSL exams. Just a thought - you may want to blur a little at the start as you basically broadcast your real name on YouTube. (Are you the one that writes for one of the daily papers, BTW?)
Congratulations on passing your exam, but you need to use your face and eyes more. Facial expressions play a huge role in signing, and so much part of the signer's "voice". Here, you have no style or 'voice'. Your narrative is quite flat. All that said, comparing with what I had seen from the others, you did a really good job. Work more on conveying your 'voice' through your face! :D
Hi my names kev, i've been learnig BSL for 6 months give or take self taught, i understood some of the storyline, and found it very clear, i do have a passion for languages but never thought i'd take up sign language. i have decided that this is the rout to go for the dream job i want, and really enjoying the learning. im waiting to start a level 1 course, i think i need to cram in some more time to learn my basics,t hough im not doing too bad. really enjoyed watching the video.
Hi! I agree. Your signing is really clear. I've just started Level 2 and found your use of roleshift really useful. How did you get on in your exam? Hope you got the result you wanted.
You're really good!♥
