  • what if we buy the ready made cheesecake? what should we add? frosting? to make it mouldable into balls.

  • @zhubenn >> I made these with JUST prebought cheesecake....then we dipped them in melted chocolate

  • How did it tatste?! :D

  • Yup the crisco works!

  • Rosemary? Really? Does not sound appealing to me at all, neither does the pink salt. I used sprinkles. Love the recipe though. Thank you!

  • @Lulu4Him I agree with you with the rosemary, but salt on desert are amazing!!! I love salted brownies and ice cream! Oh yeah herbs in sweet sauces are good!!!

  • @Lulu4Him .....You use salt in baking all the time.....

  • @B4K4xNi Yeah, but she used the pink salt as a topping.

  • I LOVE THIS recipe!!! i wanted to know if I can make mini tarts with this recipe...well I know I can but what would the baking time be? I was going to make a graham cracker crust and add to a mini muffin pan, then add cheesecake recipe. Just wondering? Thanks again! Oh, also if I do add a graham cracker crust for a large cheesecake would I still put it in the water bath?

  • I like the old fashioned intro. ^^;

  • Did anyone make this cheesecake? Did it taste okay? Lol

  • DELICIOUS!!

What's the # of the scoop you used there?

  • Thanks for the idea, looking forward to making this for my family.

    €:)

  • On how high should it stand in the oven?

  • @SakiniSan Cheese cake at 350 deg.

  • ah i tried this at home and i absolutely love it!!! this recipe is definitely going in my cookbook! i really enjoy all your videoes

  • I have a few questions , first did you grease the pan with crisco or butter? Can you do it with oil? Second where can you get chocolate by the pounds ? Third did you use the whole pot of water? Sorry this Is so long lol and finally what kind of Pans did you use? Ok that's lol

  • @megsweetie17 I use cooking spray on my pan but I use a springform pan. 2nd the water was for a water bath to keep the cake moist, it adds humidity to the oven and stops the cake from cracking. As for the chocolate use the same as you do for cookies the drops add the crisco to make it very shiny. Hope this helped some.

  • 13 people disliked this because

    1- they don't like cheesecake

2- they think it was too hard

  • @BeCreative329 regardless of the reasons.. the tutorial was awesome

    10x @chefcarlabeth I really enjoyed it

  • Does rosemary work with cheesecake? I only ever use it in savoury food.

  • hahah. i love the intro =D

  • I did this tonight... and let me tell you, it is the hardest thing for me. The cheese cake itself taste great. But the melting, dipping on the chocolates and all that was the hardest thing for me. So I salute you, you made everything look exceptionally easy to do. I want to ask, what kind of chocolate did you used? Because I tried the chocolate chips, didn't work even w/ crisco. Good thing I have Baker's chocolate bar, and just melted it in the microwave. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  • I love this video, is so cute, the end!!!! Love is in the AIR!!!

  • Anything made as a cheesecake I love it! Great video!

  • Hi i was wondering if anyone could answer why we couldnt use springform pans? Could you answer ASAP?? Thanks a lot!!

  • @xoivyemmaxo I'm guessing it's because perhaps the batter might seep through the edges of the springform pan while it's baking?

  • When making these cheese cake pops can I just buy the cheese cake and then make it out of it I wanna make it simple I don't always have a lot of time so let me know please!!! Thanx. By the way they look fantastic good job.

  • I wish I had a mom that would make stuff like this for me.

  • well, you could explain this a little more, like when you incorporate every thing

  • oh my god i'm straving

  • Why do the cheesecake pops have to be uncovered when freezing?

  • ; A ;

  • great video!!!

  • Oh my god. I think I love you for making these. xx

  • Seriously these r soooooo effin good ! Keep the recipes coming !

  • ....besides the recipe (which sounds devine) ...you have a killer old school intro....fun music during (seemingly in the style from that same era) ...and then end it with cute and funny talk....I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! =^.~=

  • So trying this out!!!

  • QUESTION! is this a good recipe to eat on it's own with a graham cracker crust.?

  • I LOVE IT...EVEN THE MUSIC IS SO COOL!

  • omg!! what'd u put on the chocolate while it was still melting???? mine gets grainy alllll the time.

  • @monyvalesti Sounds gross but Crisco. Makes it really smooth and shiny without having to temper it.

  • @chefcarlabeth

How much Crisco did you add to how much of chocolate?

  • @Perniciousdeeds what is wrong with your brain.

  • @chefcarlabeth could butter be used instead? I heard of butter being used when melting chocolate

  • @monyvalesti shortening

  • @monyvalesti Make sure you don't get water in the chocolate.

  • @monyvalesti

    Its heavy whipping cream !!

  • Comment removed

  • yum! What a simple way to explain how to make this recipe. Thanks!

  • why did you have to put water in the pan and then the cheesecake on top of the water?

  • @38cinderella

It helps the cake cook gentley. Sometimes, if you don't do it right, it can dry out and crack...or heat to fast and get poofy and a weird texture. Also the bottom wont get rubbery.

  • what kind of chocolate are you using for the dipping?

  • YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • me gusta 0________0

  • do i have to use this exact recipe or can i use another recipe..

  • why se salt that taste BAD sugar taste good put sugar in then when u think u should put the salt in pt more sugar make it sweeter prolly :D

  • No recipie no direction???

  • when you take the cheesecake out to make for balls, could you just eat it like that? (in cheesecake form?) also, could i just make cheesecake balls without the sticks in them? thankkyouu~

  • U HAVE TO MAKE MORE MORE VIDS

  • I never thought of this it looks so good!

  • I've made cake pops, so I can't wait to try these! Thanks!

  • How long do they stay firm once you take them out of the freezer?

  • this is so goooooooood i just love these little poops

  • may I eat what was left on the cheese cake pan? :D

  • @anisgt The cooked leftovers are the bakers reward for all the hard work. So absolutely yes!

  • @chefcarlabeth ahh you rock! :D

  • how many eggs did you use?

  • @zaqxswcde96 The written recipe is on Key Ingredient or on the left hand side of my main page on YouTube. Hope that helps!

  • Can u use chocolate chips for this.

  • @ultimatedarkside1 Chocolate chips would be fine.

  • I love your introduction and music!!! I'm making these cheesecake pops for my kids next band bake sale.

  • @tuffydoodle Thanks! Hope they help raise lots of money for the band!

  • in my family we actually chill our cheesecake and put lime in it so that wouldn't work to make these, right?

  • @HELLOKITTYgir I don't know about the lime. If it doesn't curdle the cheesecake then I think it should be fine. Let me know if you try it!

  • I thought it would have turned out better

  • @beastlyxyooj29 Sorry it didn't work for you.

  • Why would u put rosemary in your cake pop.? Yuck. And how do u make your chocolate so smooth, if so, is it chocolate chips?

  • @CuPcAkEaTeR123 Don't knock the rosemary until you try it. The only thing I would do over was to chop it finer. And I used a block of chocolate chopped up.

  • that is so clever

  • Can you email me the recipe..They look yummy..I am actually making cake pops as we speak but would love to try the cheesecake ones..

  • @ToniDay68 The written recipe is on the left hand side of my main page or you can find it on Key Ingredient.

  • @hpdragon723 Glad it helped and the end result was yummy!

  • how can these be stored? if i make em on thursday can i freeze em till wednesday?

  • @techanddancer Absolutely!

  • @techanddancer yes, but you will also need a time machine. May i recommend a DeLorean DMC-12 ;)

  • I know this may be a silly question, but why do you put the water in the pan while the cheesecake is baking? Why is only 2 yolks used also along with the other eggs? I am new to cooking and just trying to find all the best ways of making things. Great job with those pops also, they looked great! you can e-mail me at queen_108@yahoo.com to answer my silly questions. Thanks so much!

  • How much water should we use?

  • @momo14runxc Pour water until it come up to the mid level of the pan your cheesecake is in. You don't want it too high or it can spill into the cheesecake.

  • How much does this make?

  • @momo14runxc It makes 30 to 40 servings.

You can find the written recipe to the left of my home page.

  • Is the crisco just for buttering the pan?

  • @momo14runxc the crisco helps make the chocolate dipping sauce shiny and easier to set up. you can temper your chocolate if you'd rather.

  • I use a recipe for cheese cake using condense milk with the cream cheese and there's no need for the oven, but I do freeze it a little bit will I be able to use this technique for that??

  • @ROBERTALOLLIS I'm not sure. I have not tried this with a non-bake cheesecake. It's worth a try. If you do it please let me know how it comes out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  • wow! i love this idea.. I'm most likely giving this a try.

  • I am definitely giving this a try. I am going to make them.

  • This is amazing!!!

  • muy buenoooooooooooooooo

  • The BEST Demo, ever! THANKS, FOR SHARING!!!!

DEAR FUSSIMS: You probably don't need a springform pan since you are going to be scooping the cheesecake directly out of the pan to "FORM" balls. I.e. you're not making this particular cheesecake for presentation (that's when appearance for your PERFECT cheesecake will come into play! :-D

The "water bath" is the most important thing in this case! DO OMIT THIS PROCEDURE.

  • @Eseercam You are so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. And thanks for the tips!

  • The BEST Demo, ever! THANKS, FOR SHARING!!!!

  • Oh my gosh! It's easier than I thought it would be, I'm making those tonight! Thanks!

  • looks great. need help. i need a Recipe. For the Chocolate Cover.

  • @alexacome5 The recipes are on the side of my Youtube homepage and you can find them on Key Ingredient also. Hope this helps!

  • Why not a springform pan? ):

  • i wish this was more informative....more info during the video, i'd really like to see the person baking talk rather than just the words....really lacking in my opinion......

  • Thus proving... Anything is better on a stick!

  • @SupaYoda Exactly!

  • I really like this idea! I saw how cake pops were made and wasn't a fan of the frosting/cake mixture. Thanks for sharing!

  • @tisisela I agree with you with the cake pops frosting/mixture. It's a bit weird. These on the other hand are wonderful.

  • Terrific!!! Even better than mama!!!!

  • What a COOL video!!! I can't wait to make these! Thanks for posting!

  • This is a really well-made video :) Fun cooking tutorial

  • Question... Once they are all done and decorated do we freeze them or just place them in the fridge till ready to serve? I want to make these for a baby shower and I will place them in clear individual bags and use a pretty ribbon = )
