  • were do i get this and how much will this set me back ?

  • This knife...its beautiful...and a wonderful piece of engineering...

  • That knife is fucking awesome!

  • moving to new hampshire haha

  • beatiful

  • Awsome knife. I have one on the way I can't wait!

  • What would keep it from firing w/o the venting?

  • Could u have a Scottish Claymore Sword!

  • Man o man. That is SWEET!!!

  • I WANT that carbon fiber, blue titanium screws knife near the end! Simply gorgeous. The blade looks longer too.

  • where in nh do you live? im in nashua

  • fantasy knife

  • use it in bathtub or somthing in your next vid... peace

  • Wow, awesome Scarab man!! Great review!

  • I love that color.

  • I like the tan with the bronze hardware. Very cool collector knife. I don't know if I would pay that much for a user knife. That is a really cool looking knife though. Thanks Kirk I have been waiting for this video for sure!!! Pretty cool with the venting in the blade and the Tritium illuminated actuating button! I like it! Your right about the colors and the sheaths. Tan comes with the tan, and black and gun metal grey come with standard black. Personally Tan is the way to go.

  • @TheSSFreak

Well my Sebenza is within that price range and it rarely leaves my pocket. In New Hampshire I would carry this knife over other Scarabs because of the practicality of the knife's single edge. That plus the venting would broaden it's use-- adding the versatility we all need in our day-to-day lives. For all I know my car could veer off into a lake at any time........ I must be prepared.

  • @apophysis7

You do make a very good point there Kirk! Always be prepared...its very true especially now-a-days. I like the way you think. Practicality of this knife is quite perfect for EDC and for saving your life once in a while. I definitely consider it a good user knife now for sure. The fact that it is awesome just sweetens the deal! You the man Kirk!

  • that is sick. nice knife man, i never knew Microtech offered a knife like that.

  • Another AWSOME knife review man!!! Keep up the AWSOME work!! :D

  • Nice knife, I dare you to EDC it.

  • man you have an awesome collection!

  • @paperas24

Thank you. Nice job on your MPR video if memory serves me correct.

  • @apophysis7 considering its an underwater knife, i would've liked to seen you operate the knife in water to truely demonstrate it.

  • if i was in the navy i think i would have to pick a spyderco salt as my main knife and great video!

  • @appletime101

Absolutely, but it is another back-up option for sure. It helps support your primary larger fixed blade.

  • Beautiful Microtech! I really like the tan color. Thanks for sharing.

  • @edgedweapon88

Thank you edgedweapon-- I'm a sucker for tan Microtechs. Add camo stripes and it can't be matched.

  • thats awesome, great video bro.

  • @Burson69

You're among my best subscribers-- thank you for your steadfast support of my channel.

  • @apophysis7 no problem man, u have the best macro shots ever. love the close ups on the knives.

  • Wicked looking blade! I'm diggin it! Loving that color also.

  • @darkchild57

Yeah goes both ways my man..... and I'm diggin' your Impreza.

  • That is a sweet knife bro,,I would love to own a MT one day, but price over use is what gets me.

Also, are the internals Rust proof?I can't see all the water going out the drain holes.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @JohnWayneColt45

Not certain-- they recommend rinsing it thoroughly in fresh water after use and letting it air out I believe. I would assume so-- or else it's just a glorified Scarab. And if you lived in New Hampshire this would be a very practical option. You would actually use this knife JohnWayne. It's single edged, drop point blade, with plenty of belly, would be a very handy knife all around in my opinion. Knife Rights needs to hit your state next apparently.

  • thats a great knife

  • @22056379

    Thank you

  • Thanks for the info on new knife laws. Very interesting stuff. I like the new take you pursue on video making..

  • @plaguw

.... And I appreciate your words of support.

  • wow kirk did i ever tell you your my best friend?... i think i have, anyways you literally just showed the knife im seeking out to buy. YOUR AWESOME!

  • @uwanaugoda

Thank you man. Buy the way, not diggin' the WASP knife. I'm not planning on takin' on any Mako sharks any time soon-- and I'd have a better chance warding off a bear with either bear mace, or my Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri.

  • @apophysis7 Yeh but imagine shankin someone in the neck good bye head, i agree besides mountain lions not to many creatures bigger than me around but theres a coolness factor to splitting a watermelon in two

  • Very Nice Blade, love the color! Awesome update on the new laws passed. Go Ar. and NH. Thanks for sharing, also great quaility on the video. Your videos are one of a kind keep up the great work.

  • @thecajunblaze

Pretty ironic, who would've ever thought that I could drive 20 min. to New Hampshire and have knife freedoms more liberal than my native state. We are indeed in strange times my friend. Thanks for droppin' by as always.

  • Sweet blade my friend, I was just checking these out on thehollowgrindcom. I'm thoroughly jealous.

Great news about the changes to knife law, I hope Mi. Follows suit.

With your sweet Halo V collection I was wondering if you have seen the OLive Drab version yet, looks killer!!

  • @1AbominAble1

The entire NATION should follow suit if you ask me. I do have as a matter of fact Olive, as well as Tan in that knife. Thanks for the comment.

  • haha your videos uses such a high quality camera it takes such a long time for the entire video to load, it keeps on buffering on my computer. but either way nice quality what are you recording with?

  • @TH3aznEmperor

Canon Powershot SD960IS. It runs at a max of 720p-- but for me it's sufficient enough in light of the fact that there's now 1080. You think 720p is bad, try loading 1080. 720p is as high as I desire going-- to me I really can't tell much of a difference between these two supreme formats.

  • @apophysis7 My videos are in 1080p but a lot of times it's not really worth waiting for it to load unless you are looking at something really close. When I watch my own videos, I watch it in like 480 or 380 whatever the lowest is

  • Yeah, knife laws are often so ridiculous. Here in CA, there is a 3" (non-dagger folder) concealed carry blade restriction...at least here in L.A. county. All this does is restrict what law abiding citizens can carry, don't see it deterring criminals in any significant way. But it's good to hear some of our rights are slowly being given back to us.

  • @spydermojo

Yeah partner, we are witnessing a huge backlash against the establishment. Free people make less disgruntled people. No one likes being unjustly controlled.

  • Wow, sweet blade!

  • @ATF6281914

    Thank you ATF

  • Very cool

  • @biguy525

    Thank You

  • What the deal with the dust cover? Is that standard on all OTF MT's? why would you need it underwater? Nice knife though bro.

  • @redsoxnation32

Man, something I wish they had included for all their knives-- especially helpful for the ones kept out of storage. Underwater for military personnel. For the rest of us, in the rare event our car drives into a body of water and could function as a seat belt cutter. I guess you could take it scuba diving-- just be sure to rinse it clean through all venting areas.

  • @apophysis7 yeah but why only on the underwater scarab. I would think it would be the opposite.

  • @redsoxnation32

Don't ever waste your time trying to figure out Microtech-- it's like readin' Egyptian hieroglyphics. Some times the company is spot-on, other times not. To me it's we aren't seeing that makes them the gold standard in automatic knives. If everyone saw their angle then they'd just be another run-of-the-mill knife company. The president, Tony Marfione, is very eccentric-- when his creative synapses are firing we get the Halo V-- when they aren't we get the Katana series.

  • very nice! too rich for my blood when it comes to a production MT tho.

  • @FTWCM

I only have one brother. And I'm keeping it as a user.

  • @apophysis7 Good job! All my knives, even a Reese Weiland proto, are users.

  • awesome looking knife

  • @aknifecollector

    Thank you man
