@gaylolful All i'm saying is that i'm happy NYS is going to marry us gay's & lesbians. We fought very hard to get this done. If you don't have these rights in your state. Then get a group together and fight for it. But look at the bigger picture. At least there are SOME states that will marry us. It's a hell of a lot better then NO states or having to haul it up to Canada to get married. Take each small victory and build upon it.

Political laws are made by people not by God and in the eyes of the State two people wanting t enter a civil union with special benefits should be able to do that regardless of their gender. It's a question of equality and human rights, not about heaven and hell. What happens in the afterlife and on the Judgement Day happens then, here and now we adhere to the laws of men and that legal act should be available to all. Call it as you wish, as long as I have the same rights it's fine by me.
