  • The German language in many cases is more to the point than the beautiful English language.

  • @rts4761

it means as much as "just a minute" /"only one minute"

dont know why they use german words for some of their instrumentals

  • @The5pirit ... because Ritchie is something of a Deutsch-o-phile and speaks german fluently. remember, he was a session guitarist in germany when Jon Lord and Ian Paice recruited him for Deep Purple back in about '67 or '68.

unless i'm mistaken, his first three wives were german as well, and his son Jurgen (by his first marriage) is now the guitarist for the current incarnation of Rainbow. he's not quite as good as the old man, but who is, really?

  • @The5pirit cause its basicaly a german composed melody. Also as the integrated german legends, for example Loreley and Nibelungs or All for one (original: was wollen wir trinken - what we'd like to drink)

I love their sounds. B's N is super. Gorgeous, devine voice and great instrumentals.

  • @MisterBenne ah, I forgot to mention: They are also produced by SPV records - a german company. Maybe thas another reason too why they did / do some german stuffs.

  • Nice title ;)

    Ritchie is a Master.
