Not if you want to eat there! The food is so cheap if you compare it with the food in the Netherlands. I went to a lot of "tabernas" there and really: it is cheaper then a lot of countries. :)

...and that is why I want to emigrate from England to the Volos/Mount Pelion area when I am older and have my own Greek villa and perhaps work in a Taverna. Also because I like Greek food & Greek culture + I hear they take sports like soccer , basketball and their politics seriously. I'm going to attempt to learn Greek so I can emigrate one day :D

I understand why you love Greece so much. I went to mount pelion this summer and it was amazing! But I don't ever want to live there! All the villages are small, there aren't a lot of buses or trains or whatever and if you want to go to school you have to go to volos!! Everything is far away.... I'll stay in the Netherlands or I'll move to france. ;)

Nobody obliges you to live in Greece, and I don't know what it would be like living there, but at least I love going there on holiday really much :)
