  • Sorry, I've lived in both France and the United States. The health care in France is much cheaper (even for the wealthy) and much higher quality than the health care that I've gotten in the US. Even for Emergencies, operations, everything. I get decent healthcare in the US because I am uppermiddle class, but it's still inferior to the healthcare I got in France for 6 years. I'm not saying that that system is doable here in the states; but just me 2 cents.

  • Prolific, and as true today as it was then ....

  • The liberals have used slow progression for a long time to get their way. they are now in control of over 1/3 of our economy. they are marching us down the road to a totalitarian state and my children and grand children will not know the freedom I have known. It is time to take back america in november.

  • I have not watched this in a while.

  • ohhh... so this is where the coffee party comes from.

  • Not really.

The coffee party is a transparent attempt by democratic strategists to emulate the true grassroots success of the tea parties through EXACTLY the kind of 'astroturfing' Pelosi accused the tea party of engaging in.

    Typical liberal hypocrisy.

  • @CallAShot umm no it isn't . It just holds the same concept as talking over Coffee. Nothing originating from it.

  • we need this man back

  • Enough talk! Its time for action!

    "WE THE PEOPLE!"

  • ronnie on socialized medicine (& coffee (remade tea baggers):

rrring rrrring...hellow sylvia browne? what should i say about this stuff? i mean i was a union head for motion pics..i see lotsa folks who need med care sylvia, what can i do?? uh yea? uh yea? uh oh really? you foresee i will be president one day if i ignore the needs of the people?? awsome sylvia--thanks!

  • You can not prevent the amount of people that enter into the social security and medicare system. If the program is there, then people will rely on it.

You can not just strip people of it either. But the fact is, it is going to go broke once all the baby boomers enter into it. The cost is unsustainable, therefore it is an unfunded liability.

I agree with the Insurance Company issues you mentioned. Through tort reform and competition across state lines we can solve it through the free market

  • There is nothing new under the sun - just another example of how special interests (in this case physicians) resort to demagoguery because their objective is selfish and self-serving. The exact same thing is happening now.

You know, after all this gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands Medicare passed - and the Republic still stands. Leads me to believe that these guys were full of crap, just like the people today who are against health care reform.

  • For a 'history geek', you sure seem to have missed the point. Two words for you:

    Unfunded liability.

  • I think this is awesome.

  • I think this would be the same issue for about anyones profession. If the government wanted to regulate someone's everyday work and then bill the tax payer for it, then mostly anyone in a free country will strongly object. Especially if the costs are going to increase by 13% and their pay decreased. What do you do? Let me see if there is a way we can socialize your profession.

  • Well gee golly whiz - the empirical facts of the present seem to be bearing his prophetic words out well enough.

For an "entertainer", he seems to have done a much better job than the ambulance chaser we've got in their now.

  • It is truly disrespectful to stricken a former president of his title. Although there was a lot of opinions coming out of the left about this guy. He is truly respected by both parties for his role in spreading democracy through out Great Britain and Germany.

It is unfortunate that people still dismiss the likelihood of communism in the US, when communist in and around 1935 infiltrated the highest levels of our military and government. The ideals are still there today, on the left and right.

  • that is a very interesting speech.

    tim

  • Wonderful Video. It sounds as if he is truly speaking to us from beyond the grave. We sure could use Ronny today. Ronald Reagan was the very first President I was able to vote for! How utterly PROUD I was that day, I wore my I voted pin, for a week afterward. This man was truly as close to a "founding Father" as we have ever had. He was a wonderful Speaker. And in my never to be humble opinion, the Best President we have EVER had. We need him NOW! this Video has given me chills. Thank you

  • I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  • Excellent video, as always, Kafir. Sorry we haven't spoken lately, but I've been keeping an eye on your page. We need another Ronald Reagan to halt the Socialism being imposed upon us all.

    Merry Christmas, my infidel brother!

  • Thanks. Happy new year to you!

  • Very interesting video. Good post.
