As a student who started in the 07 season and where my last season was this past one (fall 11) it's so WEIRD seeing the Rob empty. I'm gonna miss the Rob...but I welcome the new stadium!
I bet if this game was from this past season it would have been packed... regardless of the weather. The Rice game where it poured should be proof enough for that. We stayed and got even louder. EPIC
That was a strange game. COLD AS SHIT! TSU got manhandled worse than I've seen in a long time. I listened to some of the game on my walkman while shivering and the UH announcers were just trashing the TSU players for not even looking interested in playing. At one point they even called them out for not having any pride. Sad day for TSU, but then, there've been a lot of those lately.

You have no idea how hard the athletic dept tries to schedule quality opponents. Problem is, teams don't want to come to Houston to play us. We've done well to get home and homes with OSU and Texas Tech of late. I think Tech is really pushing hard for us to move that game to Reliant, which we won't do.

the reason why tsu wasnt excited was because it was cold and it wasnt a swac game. those mix ups are not good for black teams

TSU got owned. Nobody even went to the game because of the weather, and we all knew what the outcome would be anyway...
