@watuwaitn4 How old is it, after about from 1-2 years you will want to par boil the 1st. You really need to par boil anything that is not a feeder rabbit that is 8-10 weeks old....That is when we butcher ours.....
@shinnecockwarrior LOL>..It really was not that bad, as long as you only ate a small anount of every thing....The Rabbit is actually good for you....Minus the breading....Thanks
Nice stove, nice tasty looking spread..yumm! I, too, have never eaten a rabbit but I bet I could fried up that way, lol..does it taste like chicken? lol ...I love the way your family is always together whether it's working or hanging out at the creek having fun. I think that is the way God intended it to be. Too bad we can't all be independent of the "system". I admire you all. ((Hugs)), Angie in AR
That just looked so wonderful and delicious I've never had fried rabbit, and boy does it look good!!! Can I ask, what does your adoring hubby do during the day? He must love you dearly, you're a gem, Misty. xo
I learn so much from your videos and I appreciate all the effort you put into them. Thanks,The stove looks great and the food looks even better and we know you worked hard for it.
Looks delicious! You can fry me anything~we just won't tell my Dr. LOL Hard work=you can eat what you like. I know you are enjoying that new wood stove. Great Chimney design & yes it does look nice. Supper over fire just tastes so good! Hugs
Yummmmm.....AWESOME vittles ya all got there, and all cooked on the new wood stove! The ingenuity that springs forth from Mountain Man and you dear Misty,...thumbs up to ya both and thankin' ya for the YUMMY UPLOAD!! =D
@scarmenl What's healthy and not healthy? That meal has a few more calorie than most people need, who sit on their bottoms all day, in the air conditioning. That's true. But have you seen this gal work?! LOL She's burnin' some calories.
tasty..saw a rabbit out near the garden yesterday.. wanted to put an arrow throw him so bad... but there not in season... almost ready for squirrel season to start tho
Up here in the North-East, every time someone talks about eating something different or unusual, they say "It tastes like chicken!". But I've heard that rabbit really does. I want to try some; would you say it resembles chicken meat? Also do you cook frog legs? I love those...but they don't taste like chicken to me. Tess

i like deep fried and smothered with gravy even though my cardiologists says it aint good for me my wife doesnt let me have it often and yers looks so good with that stove outside you wont be canning on the grill burner now id like to have a wood stove outside maybe next yr i can cover part of my deck and put one out there just too cook on
Oh Misty, that looked so good! I haven't had rabbit in right around 10 yrs. I am sure wantin some now though..lol. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us.
we don't due a huge amount of fried foods, but I have a definite weakness for anything that includes biscuits and gravy! lol...and my waist line shows that. BUT, if it's a special occasion and you have put in a hard days work, it works out fine.
Glad the stove is working out for you so well! I like the way that chimney was done.
Hubby thinks I am nuts for wanting a summer kitchen outside. I dont really get cases of the green eyed monster but I just think it is so cool you have that set up, makes me want it more
Quick question - for fried rabbit, what is a good age to "harvest" the rabbits? Wasn't sure if rabbits get too tough to fry as they get older.
