  • MOHAMMED WARDI WAS THE FIRST TO SING NUBIAN MUSIC IN ARABIC. IT IS JUST SAD THAT THE EGYPTIAN ARABS CONTINUE TO OPRESS AND TORMENT THESE SONS OF THE PHAROES WHO ARE ALSO DECENDED FROM THE ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE. WHEN WILL THE TRUE PEOPLE OF THESE LANDS RISE UP AND TAKE BACK WHAT WAS STOLEN FROM US AFRICANS. WHO WILL STAND UP FOR AFRICA AND AFRICANS AND STOP ARAB EXPANSIONISM ON THE AFRICAN CONTINENT.

  • im sudanese and bout 90% of the guys are conceited and i mean the ones in the united states but if you go to sudan and ever see the a girl with out that scarf thing that coverers her hair its so nice they have long soft NATURAL hair well atleast the ones i know they look like models not all of them but some like half and half

  • The World is one and diversity is unity . I am sure the next geographical unity will be Africa.

Let us work for that dream together.

    Ana Africi ana Sudani

  • Ethiopia+Somalia= Miami USA or Copacabana CUBA.

  • I love this song so much. How could you sit still when this is playing? My four yr old loves it too. Also Adunia.

  • crack!

  • نجم افريقيا الاول

  • music unites people, music is joy, music is peace, wardi is legend and addis is his home welcome anytime, wow i cant tell u how refresh i am every time i listen to wardi, i pray u have long life.

  • this is excelent music

  • HE LOOKS LIKE MELKAMU TEBEJE GOD BLESS SUDAN AND SUDANIS (ETHIOPIAN FROM US)

  • wardi is pure nubian and african and my wife is nubian and loves him and tease me that we arabs,( do not have a sense of music), i tell her he sings in arabic .. but i know the soul is african and the mother is africa..

we are mixture of arab, zinji(african) and nubian and we belong to the motheland....

  • This dude is not nubian are you confused? The real nubians or the clostest ones to the real nubians live in the south. Nubians during ancient times were very very very dark skinned people. Wardi and all those other arabs in the north are what we call hybrids. They don't belong anywhere and they definately don't belong in sudan.

  • @MeasureOvaMan

    wat is your problem nekarrr

  • @MrTomcatsud s[eak english nekarr

  • @MeasureOvaMan what are you talking about nubia was in present-day southern egypt and north Sudan...wardis a hybrid why? because hes relatively lighter-skinned. dont have such a simplistic understanding of ethnicity and "africa." sure there was a lot of intermarriage in n. sudan and the horn of africa with arab invaders & merchants. don't foolishly assume, however, that just because the arab culture now dominates (due to military and economic strength) that everyone has a genetic ling to arabs

  • @Andominus dont forget about the ottoman empire which ruled both eygpt and sudan.my greatgreatgrandmother is turkish.

  • @Andominus I'm not assuming I know. The original sudanese are in the south.I know that based on reading books. The ones who control sudan right now are nothing but invaders.Truth hurts alot.

  • @MeasureOvaMan south sudanese come from ugana and rwanda

  • @MeasureOvaMan lool those invaders have been in Sudan for tens of thousands years, while your Southern people came to surface few years ago, your truth is the limits of how your thoughts can reach

  • @MeasureOvaMan really? then who live in the North now, and who speaks Nubian now? and where are the arts of Nubian present now? Sudan is for all Sudanese and try to push US Nubians out off Sudan, at that moment you will know where we belong and where you belong

  • Hununa bi hibak ya fanan alkaber fi Sudan wa if ifrikia amatan. We will always be Sudanese regardless of what happen come Jan. 2011.

  • I remember when he visit Southern Sudanese in the refugee camps in Ethiopia in the 90s. We will always love you for that.

  • habeshaone1 like u brother i am somalian but like this song i guess i am from east africa

  • Wardi is the best ambassador of Sudan in Ethiopia. He is loved and respected

  • We are as Sudanese,Eithiopians,Somali and Eritreans one nation for ever. Lovely

  • @yai97

Yes you are right, but this will be true if our criminal rulers will start to think in the right way.

  • @yai97 we are all same people, but may be our politicians have different views and their own Needs to keep their position in power, but we must not listen to them,

when we come in Europe or America we are united like brothers, so why we don't to be like that in Africa

any ways my East Africa, my Africa,

  • In Somalia we used to listen sudan´s music such like Mohmad Wardi, Salah ibu badiya and others... Somali singers like Hassan Adan Samatar, Magool and others were singing in Khartuum 1980s somali, sudan and ethiopian music are similar as we are related one other

  • Hi Ethipia Hi all Ethiopian brothers I have been to Addis once but everyday I hope I be there love ethiopia and Ethiopians our good neighbours Greetings from a sudanese

  • In the beginning gifted Ethiopian people love, words can not express.

I swear to God that you are good neighbors. Sudanese love you love from the heart. I hope God will continue to love.

I love you and I love your songs. And I hope from my heart to visit the flower blooming Addis Ababa.

    Thank you dear Ethiopians

  • Wardi should be a Nobel laureate as best artist in the entire sub Saharan Africa, he is such an icon and inspiring legend for Sudan and many other societies in Africa. I adore Wardi

  • It is good musics to begin with.

  • wardi you are the best in africa and in the world

  • Sudanese are one of the kindest & welcoming people on earth. They are real brothers/sistes in need. They have always been our well-wishers and play a major part to what Ethiopia is today. THANK YOU SUDAN for all good deeds regarding our people. Please make Ethiopia your second home.We have more than enogh space for you brothers.

  • The best sanger in Sudan Mohamed al Wardi.

  • Ethiopians are our neighbors and friends than those who believed that the Egyptians and the Arabs are a natural extension and the evidence when I visited Addis Ababa, I felt loved and welcome, and to this day the Egyptians did not attempt to identify our art, our music

  • I love sudaness people and music

  • thanks robell744, i am sudanese from north and i like ethiopians and eritereans i see them as have brothers and sisters, we have alot of commons,

eldinkawi be easy and lets overlook the bright side and not generalize stereotypes

  • wow I love it thnx for the lyrics

  • AM Ethiopian but Sudanese are the nicest and very friendly people in the entire world. You can't find any other people more friendly than the Sudanese.May god bless them.

  • Thanx a lot and the Ethiopians have been our good neighbors for a long time ..

  • @robel744

This is an over statement. You simply need to read about Sudan history and the civil wars and you be left with the impression that we are not the most friendly people in the world. I know Northern Sudanese project their images of being the friendly people when they are the most the oppressive people the whole world have ever witness. Imposing your identity and belief on others doesnt make you a friendly person, but a war monger.

  • @eldinkawi

is n't it enough that we who are the Northerners who made Sudan what is known to be Sudan, by our high ethics and our peacefull nature? and your whole world is nothing but criminals and murderers, since I know which world you talking about (USA & Europe); then go and lick your world's balls. Now look at your South, each tribe is killing the other tribe! is this the Northerners who are killing your people?

  • @robel744 Wel...... these words of yours about sudanese people, brought me to tear up , really...., it seems that nice people always write nice words...thank you so much for those nice words ,and God bless you always..... .

  • @robel744 Wel...... these words of yours about sudanese people, brought me to tear up , really...., it seems that nice people always write nice words...thank you so much for those nice words ,and God bless you always..... .

  • This song and video makes me so nostalgic from when I was younger and my mom would always play it. Much love to Mohammed and the Sudanese culture. :)

  • Can somebody please tell what the lyrics mean? Thanks a lot.

  • This song is about a lover talking to his beloved one saying:

punish me...punish me more may my heart becomes harder..as your hear became so may mine forgets..

punish me and become talented on it...don't rub my tears and don't feel pity on my being youth

  • leave me with my suffering may my heart becomes harder

punish me and forget what has been between us and don't care about what has passed from your life...leave me with my suffering..

punish me and neglect love and eagerness...and all the good stuff that has been in the past...leave me with my suffering

So please respect our inner feelings and ignore the rest. One day we might get there, then it might be better that you continue to show us the path, instead of us taking over this job.
