I never "needed to believe" in life after death, in fact, was sure there is no God and no afterlife and then I had a unexpected spiritually transforming event where for no reason I can explain met a light and saw that light as a intelligence which we are all a part of, as the center of all consciousness, a collective center of all sentient beings. After that I no longer saw others as apart from myself and instead a part of myself, equally, each one another part of the other.
a few years ago i belived in the paranormal and was intrested in science now i belive in science and now intrested in paranormal, not at any point did i have a closed mind and say this is how it is, i think people need to use knowlege as a learning centre on a journey to more learning centres and not as a perminemnt home to stay in.
well, its different if the dead person actually left u a message ... a message that actually happens after few day or months. So how do you explain that?
@jeanpierrel I think it's their own resentment and frustration that they haven't or cannot communicate that way due to their own fear and close-mindedness that makes them skeptical.
Everyone looks for the "magic words" that will convince it's opposite that itself is correct. Both sides tend to put on blinders and yell through megaphones that they know the unknowable. It's like the left-brain and right-brain both pretending to have the whole picture when in truth they are both parts of the same whole that just see thing differently. Isn't it just possible that the universe is not so black and white? Maybe ALL things have some validity.
@Damienf77 I think about this a lot. In my opinion, you're right in suggesting that the universe isn't "black and white." But if we give "ALL things some validity" in this matter, oughtn't we to apply that same diligence to all matters? We'd never allow for all possibilities in everyday banalities or in demonstrable, scientific fact--why do we treat spiritual matters differently? I find myself able to conclude only that, if we are going to use reason, we must be consistent in using it.
It's not "no explanation is possible" It's just that you need a good enough explanation, blind faith is not good enough you have to actually be on to something. I'm speaking generally.
@gokebe For you, gokebe, you need a "good enough explanation" for you. For some of us, we think, feel and believe differently and we have that right. You don't have the right, to tell us whether or not blind faith is, "good enough" for us. We do feel we ARE on to something.
What I'm saying is that a 1st person experience is not enough to convince anyone who is not already a believer. What you've experienced can just be what you experienced, you experiencing something doesn't mean that's what happened, it only means that that is what you saw. You can see a man on the street and think he's a man but "he" was actually born a girl. Experience is not equal to what really is.
To all the the people that say we just decay after we die, that we don't go on because theirs no evidence for it. Well I say prove that their isn't . You are unable to prove there's no life after death just as much as you're unable to prove there is life after death. so why be so arrogant about the possibilities when you really have no clue yourself. Why be so arrogant as to belittle the people that actually do believe ? Why stomp on some one else's hopes just because you have no hope ?
@ptevlin Very true.. these old geezers could have a spirit staring them right in the face and they would be like "This isn't real, I'm hallucinating "
I think God could be staring them right in the face and speak " See, I really am real. So what do you think now... you still think your hallucinating ? " and they'd be like " Well of course " There would be no amount of proof that would make these arrogant fucks believe we continue after death. Their so smart they've become very narrow minded.
I feel sorry for Mr. Nuland, he lives in a tight little box...his thinking process won't permit him to understand his science is already changing...he's stuck in a mode of thinking that tells him there is no reality apart from his own...very much like scientists of Newton's day. I also resent him, it's his people who control funding for research and attempt to keep the entire scientific system within their own small parameters.

John Edward is what you would call a 'cold reader'. He just mentions the most likely possibilities. Fraud... -_- Makes people who really do communicate with the other get shoved in with frauds like him...
@chocoboasylum How do you then explain how he gets very specific hits? See all the parts of this series and you will see Edwards giving very personal, direct hits that are not generalized.
If we invent "scenarios ", it is not far fetched to assume that we invent ourselves and especially the ideas we have about other people and their experience. That is supposed to be a sceptical point of view?Psychology my arrrsss very much, thank you.
Apparently DR Nuland has no experience with this matter. No doubt he has many degrees and PhDs, like many academics. Not ignorant in the least, highly intelligent, well educated, with absolutely no direct experience with the paranormal. "My scientism tells me that the afterlife cannot possible exist." Real science would tell him to get some empirical personal evidence in this matter.
Why do skeptics work so hard to disprove that which is obviously true. Why must they go through life in abject denial of the innumerable, globally documented case files of the simple proof that there is life after death. Once they cross over are they going to make up for the harm their backward thinking caused?
The debunker in this video has very cold eyes and I can tell you that there are those on earth (cloaked as humans) who don't want us to know the truth. They are cold hearted and do not want us to think for ourselves or trust our personal experiences in this regard.
The truth of the matter is that we have BILLIONS of people who have had some kind of confirmation that death is an illusion! Now, are you supposed to believe a few hundred "experts" over BILLIONS of witnesses??? I don't think so!
When we cry for the dead, they laugh at us. At first I believed in John Edwards, then I didn't. Then I found out that I am an empath. I had always had empathic ability, but I just thought everybody else did, too. I feel physical pain in my legs and, um, ass when I see someone get hurt or a wound. I can watch a surgery and knowing that the patient is alseep, I won't feel anything, but bump your head a little too hard and my legs get a very painful numbing, tingling sensation. How can I prove?
I know from personal experience. Prior to having these experiences, I would have to tell you that, If I would have meant me prior to all that has happened in my life since losing my son, and the person I am now, I would say to the person I am now, that your elevator doesn't go to the top level, but I know all the signs I have received have changed

Hi let me start by saying that this earth and our universe and people are made out of mater
But for all mater there is a complete opposite call antimatter its almost like looking into a mirror but you can`t see antimatter
Quantum Physics proves this
This could explains that when you die you become your antimatter your opposite of matter
As in many religious books it says that there is a physical form and a spiritual form of everything but they are the same

Dr Nuland is in purposeful denial. All his comments are based on the idea the person imagines or psychologically creates the 'myth'.
Nowhere can he accept the objective reality of these people's experiences.
