I had a 95' voyager sport wagon...engine came stock with holly performance parts...take out the seats and u can smoke GTI's 300 series bmw...those vans r no joke they get it done...i even seen some with stick turbos but only on the 4 cylinder model....beware the voyager!!

Yes I know that if you prop your hood up like that it cools the engine down a little bit but for something like this that isn't built at all it isn't going to make much of a difference. infact it just slows you down because of the drag it creates. Plus this trick is only ment to be an inch or two up not a foot

@erich84502ify no that van does not have a V6. its running the original 2.5 4 cyl turbo engine that came in it, bigger turbo and a bunch of other mods, but its the original engine that the van came with, i know the guy who owns it. this vid is from a while ago, the van runs 11's now.

yeah the van was a sleeper, but it sounds like the honda not only missed a shift, but had a pretty crummy launch. Van would have probably taken it anyway. Not bashing on honda, but the run was not nearly as good as it could have been.
Honda's are great for every day drivers. Honda's are not great with mods. Not to mention once you mod a Honda they become infested with technical problems. Been there, done that. Drop money into a muscle car, not a Honda.
lol that honda had slicks, the big cowl, stripped interior and everything, cant launch, and was slow as hell...I was expecting a loud ass anti-lag with a wheel spinning launch.
thats a full aluminum body, and thats a lot of work to do if your motor isnt any more than stock. z6 stock makes 130. and a b16 makes 160, gsr makes 180. h22 makes 200. k20 ranges from 160 to 200. Stock, properly running. full bodied 200hp motor with a good driver runs low 13s with slicks. this guy cant drive.
my times in a z6 with a few mods (all motor) AND NEAR FULL BODIE ran a 12.85 at 102 running 20 slicks.

Also, the only reason I don't have a car anymore is because I'm a student, I have a son and student loans weren't enough to pay the cost of owning a second car (in addition to my GF's car).
BTW, a turbo K-series Civic (like my dream car) can easily break into the 10s in the 1/4.

thats a full aluminum body, and thats a lot of work to do if your motor isnt any more than stock. z6 stock makes 130. and a b16 makes 160, gsr makes 180. h22 makes 200. k20 ranges from 160 to 200. Stock, properly running. full bodied 200hp motor with a good driver runs low 13s with slicks. this guy cant drive.
my times in a z6 with a few mods (all motor) AND NEAR FULL BODIE ran a 12.85 at 102 running 20 slicks.

My older brother has an '89 Caravan with a 2.5 turbo in it. He also swapped in a manual 5 speed with an 80's Daytona brain. I drive it once in a while and I spank Honda's with it constantly!!
