This show was precious and beautiful - totally emotional and extremely intelligent. Cancelling it was the stupidest thing they ever did.

Swingtown is such a great show! I remember when Bravo played the marathon, I watched the whole thing! I don't know why people were so upset over the show, its new, fresh and very entertaining, and it's not real! I'd be more concerned about stupid reality shows like the hills, paris hilton's new bff, and shit like that. Now those shows are damaging!

The best TV series! In my opinion such concerns are ridiculous! I would say that "swinging" is not even the central theme. The action is in fact centered in the dynamics of relationships and choices in our lives. I love it but I would't be capable of be a swinger, yet maybe it has changed my vision of the importance of sexual freedom and creativity.

I watched Swingtown. Sometimes it has affected me deeply. I have seen all finely crafted, well cast & acted episodes. My conclusion? It is one of the finest shows on TV! And I have NOT been enticed to "swing"! CBS & the writers keep it real & absorbing. This is a great show! If it can't be on prime time for God's sake sell it to cable/HBO so it can survive! Losing this show when there is So much "crap" on TV would be a huge loss.

I hope quality for once wins out!

Sorry, folks...I watched almost every episode of this show this summer...and the show's been killed by the execs. It's not picking up for the fall, and unfortunately, probably not ever. Ashame, since if this really WERE the 70's, they'd at least have been more patient and given it another half-season or so to pick up steam. Pity... :-(

People need to open their eyes. This show is fantastic and if anything, teaches honesty among couples and what can transpire if your not honest. How many shows have been on that portray blatant cheating and lying? This is nothing new with the exception it's very tasteful in the portrayal of a VERY common lifestyle. As far as the drug usage - they're trying to depict the era and not to necessarily imply that's what occurs in this age.

I LOVE Swingtown! It's a realistic look at the '70's and changing relationships. What a lot of people don't seem to realize is that these kinds of things happen in reality. This show is an honest depiction of how some people choose to live their lives. My husband and I swing on occasion. That's our right. It's not for everyone, I'm not saying that it is! But to the prudes and pantywaists out there: just shut up,change the channel and leave the rest of us open minded folks alone!

I like swingtown, I really dont see what the big fuss is about. When they get ready to do the sex scenes its nothing that you wont find on an everyday soap opera...they dont really show anything! I laugh sometimes when people say its an outrage and it will affect their children. Its on around ten oclock on a weekday night, if your kids are young enough to where you think their minds will be corrutped so easily by a tv show...then shouldnt they already be in bed?

This is an excellent show, and it's not really about sex or drugs, contrary to the hype. It's about relationships between spouses and among friends and lovers during a time of great social change. It's much more complex that it might seem on first look, and I hope it stays on past this summer. It's my favorite show this year.

Swingtown is a TRUE reality show capturing a piece of Americana as it was back in the day. Congrats to CBS for this excellent show. Sure beats the vapid crap that dominates prime time these days. If folk don't like the show? there is a technological wonder... called a Remote. So Screw You to all you do gooders that still want that puritianical "Leave It To Beaver" life... never was and never will happen.

Kinda of sad to introduce this behavior to prime time. No dount it was an alternative lifestyle of the era, but I knew many people who chose to swing and lived to have massive regrets for it. The 80's Aids epidemic made sure of that all too poignantly and fataly for many. I lost a lot of friends. But even beyond that emotinally, many of my friends were never the same, and the worse for having given in to the impulse. Sad.
