  • dkzeroone, you may want to take a refresher history course. You are correct that "the most hateful acts of barbarism have been carried out in the name of organized religion." But it's not Christianity. it's godless totalitarianism (Communism, Nazism, Facism) that was responsible for the 200,000,000,000 who were murdered in the 20th century alone.

And since you can't cite one thing Deace ever said in his interview with Minnery that wasn't true, I will assume you have no actual point.

  • Bavarian Pastors Blessing 1933:

"With joy and thanks we see how this new state rejects blasphemy, attacks immorality, promotes discipline and order with a firm hand, demands awe before God, works to keep marriage sacred and our youth spiritually instructed, brings honor back to fathers of families, ensures that love of people and fatherland is no longer mocked, but burns in a thousand hearts. "

Hmmm... Awe before God, keep marriage sacred, burns in a thousand hearts...

  • By the way, if you can't respond to the citing I made below then I'm not going to post any others. The burden is not on me to prove that your fairytale doesn't exist. The burden is on you to prove that you believe in anything other than a book that means little or nothing to most of the people of this earth.

  • Ha! Yeah, and did you know INCREDIBLY more people have died in the 20th century from earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and other natural disasters than EVER in the history of mankind! Surely that is a sign the end times are upon us! LOL. Or.... it could be that the earth's human population has BALLOONED in the last 100 years. More people died in 20th century wars, because there were A LOT more people. BTW, Nazis followed Christianity, and Stalin didn't kill in the name of atheism

  • Steve you are disabling comments on your other videos? Lame. You hate free speech too eh? There isn't a god dude. Hate to ruin all you stand for.

  • "Maybe [God] would have performed some of those great miracles. Our own lack of faith and instead our own sellout to the process is the reason he has not answered some of those prayers."

Steve's claim that prayer will protect us against the evils of "sodomy marriage" is false. If he's so scared of this, why is he relying on the a useless process of talking to one's self in order to protect himself?

  • Again, dkzeroone...You have not cited one single thing Deace has said that isn't true in this interiew with Minnery. And that is because you can't.

Take your atheistic/anti-Christian bigotry elsewhere. And if you want to voice your opinion, call Steve's show and talk to him live. Then you can explain to him what a moron he is for having a traditional Judeo-Christian worldview as opposed to your Darwinian materialistic nhilistic despondant hate filled worldview...

  • In what way am I hateful? If you're saying that people can't be moral and loving without religion then I'd come back with the argument that many of the most hateful acts of barbarism have been carried out in the name of organized religion. The argument that morality comes from religion is laughable.

  • Nice anti-Chritian bigotry dkzeroone. But again, you have not pointed out one thing Deace has said that is untrue in his inerview with Minnery.

By the way, the virgin birth, life, death and ressurrection of Jesus is the most documented event in human history. Ignore the evidence at your own peril. You will be the one separated from God eternally in hell if you reject Messiah Jesus. Not me or Steve for that matter.

  • Conrad, This isn't anti-Christian, it is anti-religious whackos like yourself. The fact that you happen to be a Christian does not matter to me in the least bit. I oppose equally anyone who tells people how to live based on any other human written book (see Judaism & Islam). Steve's problem is that he demands each political candidate perform according to biblical constraints. People are people and not everyone fits into the tiny box created by the self help fiction book known as the bible.

  • dkzeroone, you can call Mr. Deace names all day long. But what has he said in his interview with Minnery that is not true. That's really the issue.

Sorry, but calling talk show hosts who beat Sean Hannity 4-1 (even though Deace is on an AM station and GOP propagandist Hannity is on FM in Iowa) can't make up for the FACT that you can't dispute one thing Mr. Deace has ever said.

Don't blame Deace for exposing Tom Minnery for the pathetic fraud he is.

  • With all undue respect, Mr. Deace wouldn't know truth if it hit him in the forehead. How do you explain the the fact that he bases all of his arguments on the existence of and his belief in God and Jesus? What kind of truth is that? The fairytale you believe in may make you feel better when you fall asleep at night but every once in a while someone like me comes along and reminds you that it is a story.

  • PS. Way to avoid the fact that Mr. Deuce will never let anyone comment on his site because he might actually realize how many people disagree with his religious fodder. Oh also I saw what I think is the Virgin Mary in my mash potatoes. I'm getting excited!

  • Steve is a loud mouth ambush artist who doesn't allow anyone to post comments on his own site. Yet he calls it a blog? He's a troll. What kind of blog doesn't allow comments. Total tool.

  • When I hear Mr. Minnery speak, I am reminded of Matthew 7:15=23 and Matthew 12:34-37.

    Sad....but true

  • Deace's interview was fantastic. He didn't "mislead" Minnery. Deace explained to Minnery they would be discussing "Dobson's legacy" which is exactly what they did.

Deace asked Minnery if there is anything he said that was untrue.

Minnery couldn't answer the question and tried to change the subject.

In other words, Deace didn't "mislead" Minnery.

Minnery played the victim because he was unable to defend the fact that he supported the founder of sodomy marriage, Mitt Romney...

  • Accountability is good; confronting is often necessary. But I have trouble with Deace apparently misleading Minnery before the interview in order to catch him unprepared. His questions were important questions. But when the interviewee was unprepared, when the time was so limited, those questions became simply weapons to put someone down instead of vehicles to seek the truth. I know a lot of interviewers do that. But since Deace claims to be a Christian, he needs to avoid misleading others.

  • ...using tactics to mislead amounts to bearing false witness. As a Christian, our Yes needs to be Yes and our No needs to be No - Jesus was very clear about that. I know those tactics draw listeners. But as Deace aptly put it, the authority of God's word must come first. I also wonder what happened during the 21 minutes not posted here. Was that irrelevant or was it also a way to misrepresent the content? We cannot promote truth by using the devil's tactics to mislead and to destroy.

  • Minnery completely dodges answering Steve's question "Have I asked a question that's unfair, have I said something that's not true?" I know people try to cover up the "garbage", but can't they see how obvious it is that they are dodging questions and hiding things and acting like the "victim" as Steve put it? So sad...

  • Christians need to realize that guys like Minnery, Perkins, Sekulow and the other pseudo cons don't possess an authentic Judeo-Christian worldview and only want a seat at the table of whatever GOP administration is in power. This interview prooves the "pro-family' strategy of the past 30 years has failed. We need to trust God instead of deifying these false prophets like Tom Minnery. They have failed to lead and must now be replaced.

Thanks Steve for shining the light of truth in the darkness

  • If Mitt Romney is the best the Republicans can do for '12, then the Republicans are in serious trouble once again. Moreover, I do not know of any candidate who offers an acceptable economic point of view (that supports economic freedom). I do not believe that candidates who have graduated from Ivy League universities are viable because they have been brainwashed in big government ideology. Romney is a dog, but are there any good Republican candidates?

  • I agree with you about Romney, we sent him packing here in Iowa but unfortunately we are now dealing with the precedent he set with same-sex marriage when he didn't have to, I guess we'll have to wait and see but I will not hold my nose and vote for the lesser of two evils again, I could not vote for McCain and his actions sense have validated that decision at least we won't have to worry about him running again.

  • Thanks Steve for boldly standing for Truth and exposing this wolf in sheep's clothing who has placed mammon above God.

Minnery is an extremely compromised individual who lied and covered up for the Founding Father of Same Sex Marriage and the 50 dollar a pop abortion...Mitt Romney.

Thanks for exposing Minnery and Focus for what they are...wolves in sheep's clothing who are not advancing a Christian worldview.

    This interview prooves it.

    God love you Steve!

  • I'm pro-choice and don't care if homos want to get married. I'm not even a Christian. But I like this radio host because he REFUSES to submit his virtue and trust to politicians and their politricks. Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's. Politics is about earthly power. As for heavenly glory, you can't buy it, legislate it, force the immoral to embrace it, etc..those are matters for businessmen involved in the practice of marketing.

  • Radio host is an a-hole...and no Jesus would not have liked him....

  • Would you please explain why?

  • Jesus loved everyone, including his enemies.

  • Radio host was kind of a douche in this interview.

  • Those critical of the host, is anything he said untrue? Assuming you are working the same side of the street as conservative Christians are you not just a little peeved that we are constantly being betrayed by those seeking our trust?

Jesus loved everyone? Does that include the money changers in the temple that he physically threw out? Would Jesus approve a shepherd who lead his flock astray? I know this host personally he is a good man that speaks the truth that some don't like to hear.

  • I do believe Jesus loved everyone... but it doesn't mean he wasn't unhappy/angry about the actions of people.

I enjoy listening to Steve's interviews, because he doesn't "hold back" questions to keep from confrontations happening. He's not looking at being popular to people or being "politically correct", just about challenging people based on what they say they believe in comparison to what their actions are. What's wrong with accountability? Nothing, but people are so darn sensitive

  • This is why I've divorced myself from Republicans. The Dems are soulless baby killers and the Repubs are watered-down Laodiceans with no spine.

  • Um, there are some pro-life Dems...

  • Tom Minnery and his ilk in the profamily movement embracing pragmatism is a reason why we are losing the culture war as we are betrayed by the people we've supported time after time. Props to the host! After 30 years of failure maybe it's time to ask how's it work and out?

When you catch politicians red-handed in lies and contradictions why in the world would you support them?

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over again and expecting a different outcome.

  • I can't believe you're blaming "pragmatism" for losing the culture wars. Mitt Romney might have actually had a chance against Obama, and he would have nominated conservative judges. Compromising on birth control and abstinence-only education would have reduced the number of abortions.

But you people don't operate in the real world. You let "perfect" stand in the way of progress. And now, failing to realize the error of your ways, you want to become even more irrelevant. Congratulations.

  • Maybe you missed the memo but we've been doing it your way for 30 years and as Dr. Dobson admitted it has failed. You hang your hat on education? I suggest you read what Horis Mann predicted education would deliver compared to what it really did.

Somehow I don't think we are working the same side of the street, Romney was no conservative he was nothing more than a political chameleon pulling the wool over desperate people's eyes, sorry I'm not falling for the banana in my tailpipe anymore.

  • AboveAllNations seems to know so much, but doesn't seem to understand the reality of the "real world". Romney, is just another CFR puppet, and no one is asking for "perfect", just American. There are no lesser of evils, there is only evil. Talk about irrelevant.

  • If Christians stopped selling out to politics, there would be no culture war. The culture war is a media creation anyway. I see little evidence of it except for on TV. Hmmmm.....
