He deserves some good action from her after all that. By the way, this game looks genious, it really kick ass. Sony and Konami they both make great games. Sony really nailed it on this one. I feel bad for the people with other systems.

I loved the realistic graphics and environmental sounds.

The "fear of falling" was all too real. (Gee, why can't I go way down there and explore that scenery closer?)

But I find a few flaws, I would have loved programmers to fix. The sliding door thing after the Windmill level, was just too tacky/unbelievable. Make it a winch dragging a diagonal beam across the gap. =Same puzzle flow. Room below has no doors? Whoever heard of that? Tack on a nonfunctional? door, only can be opened from inside?

ICO is just too much like real life. That's why the story is so captivating

A poor boy with no special abilities, wrongly accused and left to die. I think the game designers didn't want to deal with the ugliness of pagan child sacrifice and the ire/anger of parents, so ICO was left to die, rather than actually sacrificed to appease some pagan superstitious devil-worship belief

Does ICO stand a chance? He does what he can, rescues Yorda, miraculously survives impossible fall, defeats evil place

Shadow of the colossus is the sequel (or prequel,i don't remeber xD) of ico....in facts in shadow of the colossus,you go back to be a baby,with white horns (oh yes it's prequel,wander is the first white.horned baby)

There aren't really levels in this game. Sequences maybe but not really levels since everything flows into one another. I'd say this is part of the first sequence of puzzles if anything.

Also the PAL version looks a lot better. (It's the version I downloaded.)

If ur into those games, yes. ICO may not be an actiony kind of game, but the idea, story and especially the visuals are brilliant, just like the games you mentioned, so yes u should get ICO.

I'd also recomend the Prequal to this as well.

its not ico, its his ansestor, the princess from shadow of the colossus took the baby back to her home (dont ask me how she managed to get there on a horse with a broken leg) and every generation a new baby with horns would be born, only the people took it as a curse and killed all of them, Ico is like, the tenth or even more

Sotc takes place long before Ico. The children with horns are descendants of Wander.

I think any game that tries to rationalise and visualise the process of saving is being stupid. How does sitting down allow you to resurrect yourself and your companion and turn back time? They should just leave it as an option in the menu. Making it a game element is more immersion-breaking than immersive.

The one that managed the best explanation for save points (in my opinion) is Soul Reaver 2.
