Where do you order the LCD panel at? Thank you so much. The computer you used in the video is my exact laptop. I am so excited. This will help me safe so much time and money.
The front panel where all the keys are, is coming off for me on the corner where the left speaker is,I was wondering how could I snap it back on or put something on it so it could stay down and not lift up every time i open and close my laptop
@grandtheftauto1233 thanks, but ive tried to system restore the laptop twice, so does reinstalling windows mean buying a cd and reinstalling it that way?
@muaadly your laptop should have come with a cd or has a recovery partition... you dont have to buy a CD you can download the windows 7 disk and burn it to a disc for free
So, I was wondering since I want to reapply TIM on this laptop, all i have to do is remove those screws that you have mention and pull back case out or there is something else that I would have to do before pulling back case out?
Any idea how to reset the biod password on this? I NEVER set a bios password and today when I booted up its asking for one and I am now locked ut and to make it even worse anyone you ask about this automatically assumes its a stolen laptop which it is not... The old tricks of removing the back up battery do not work, I dont know if it can be jumpered or not... Can you see what you can find out for this model Toshiba C655-S5129 Thanks and if you can figure out a way to fix this a million thanks.
That specific Type pf laptop. If you leave the power card over night. Is it bad for the battery. Some laptop dose cut off when it 100 percent charge so it has no unnecessary charge for the laptop. Dose this laptop still have unnecessary charge when it put in on 100 percent charge ?
The details in dismantling the laptop was really good but to tell the honest truth all of that was not required in order to replace the LCD. All that you needed to do was to remove the battery, remove screws from bezzel and side of screen, disconnect cables then replace the screen. This has worked for me. You don't need to dismantle your entire laptop to replace the screen.
Nice video .... clear instructions. Have you ever replaced an LCD on a Toshiba Satellite M645? Do you think the instructions for the C series are compatible for the M645? Thank you,
