@TheWCWite Yes, he is. They are all ninjas. It's not like they stop being ninjas just because their costumes are modified. Even though this costume looks a lot different than the original ninja-costume, it still has many of the same details as the original one. It's not my fault that you aren't able to see that.

@TheWCWite This costume is an advanced version of his classic one. Every ninja character got advanced versions of their classic outfit in the newer games. Some however, were changed more dramatically than others. Scorpion for example, probably had minimum of change of all the male ninja characters, while Ermac and Rain had the most dramatic change from their classic attires, but they still are ninja characters none than less. Their new attires are advanced versions of their classic ones.

@TheWCWite He is still wearing a mask, which implies that he is a ninja-character. He still has those two pieces of cloth across his chest that cross over and meet in a single piece of cloth below his waist, and there is also still a belt supporting them. This is a signature to the ninja-characters, and almost all of them still have that even though their outfits are different from each other. So he still IS a ninja-character. Besides; his alternate attire is even closer to the classic one.

I don't understand why he was so neglected. He appeared only in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and then in Armageddon. Trilogy doesn't really count. He's such a great character he should have at least been in MK Deception and Shaolin Monks.

@DriedGooshies His father is Argus, protector god of Edenia whose an Elder God now. If you played Armageddon, you probably already know that that's Taven and Daegon's father as well so he's also their half-brother. Don't know who his mom is though. I'm guessing Sindel.

@1Nbillion817 No i've played it and been a fan of mk for years now but thank you =) It's only confusing to me because his past is mysterious but as for Sindel, well, remember her husband was King Jerod, remember? :) They only have one child, Kitana :) Aninteresting guess, though. Quite a twist if they decided to do that though.

Not only that thunder bolt is a good move, but his Roundhouse Kick is also a nice move that is kinda hidden. You mix in that Round House with a good uppercut and his power moves you can dish out some real damage fast. One of my favorite characters.
