What's up with you guys? Listen to it again and tell me you hear "truth". I'm from Brooklyn and we don't say truth with a "sh" . I get your point that it makes sense, but I think it's just his ill wordplay. Mos always had deep wordplay that might not make sense on the surface, even back when it was him and Kweli. That's why you won't hear him on Hot 97 cuz you have to think about his shit.

My only beef with this album is the 1-2minute tracks.Priority, Wahid, Revelations, No Hay Nada Mas.... these are all UNREAL tracks but are just too damn short.

This could be the strongest album since black on both sides every track i've heard has either been good or brilliant, still not sure about casa bey though as it has a great instrumental but not enough rap but saying that i think it's an outro track anyways.

what i mean to say is that mos is way too talented and skilled at his craft to put out almost lazy sounding music. dont get me wrong, when mos wants to be great, he is great. but when he wants to be lazy, he is mediocre and not very impressive. this is a perfect example of when mos wants to shine and show why he is in top 10 emcee discussions.

this song, "history", "workers comp", and "life in marvelous times" are the only other standout tracks on this cd. True Magic was a horrible, rush-job cd that disappointed many, and I dont hear much memorable material on this cd. I am a big Mos fan, but I am starting to think he can never top Black on Both Sides or BlackStar era Mos. I think this album lacks a tight central corel; it just seems like random tracks put together without any sense of direction or order. what do u think?
