I live in Fargo, too. And trust me, we DO we helpers, and alot of them. So you don't need to say that we don't help out our community blahblahblah. We have to get out of school just to make sure they have enough sandbaggers. It's really devistating to see people's houses gone. We're suppoused to have a bigger flood this year. I find it humorous reading the 2 haters comments. They are just confused about how people can come together and help each other. When eithr of you 2 are in a disastar I bet we will see you on the TV blaming someone else instead of trying to stop it.
I agree. They're mad that we're not looting and shooting at the people helping us. They don't get the concept of community. Kids here work harder and take more responsibility than adults in a lot of other places. I'm humbled by the people here who are amazing and the hatred of those morons wouldn't fit in around here. I feel sorry for them. How miserable of a person do you have to be to want others to fail and suffer? Even if we lose this fight we'll still be happier than people like that.

Thank you to local suppliers and retailers for 24 hour service and discounted supplies and free supplies. Thanks to the restaurants for free food but more than anything thanks to the citizens of this awesome community. We are amazing.

Ive lived in Fargo all my life. Thanx for sticking up for us but we don't rock nearly as much as all the people in surrounding areas that came here thru some pretty crappy weather at times to help save this town. Weve seen many heroes this week. This whole region is amazing...ok I'll agree with you. We do rock. Great job with flood fighting everyone! It's not over yet but I'm confident that come HELL or HIGH WATER we'll do what it takes. I'll live with floods to be part of this community anyday!
i went to the dome to fill and stuff and the had free buffaloa wild wings.and two days ago i built dikes around this guys and now the waters at the first sandbags
this is a very good effort by fargo i lived in grand forks in 1997 what are the odds of having 2 huge floods in 12 years and if grand forks floods again people will start to leave town

Well the data from the NWS show that there was also a huge flood in 1882, just 15 years before the "hundred year flood"
