on the ground flips try kicking your feet more upwards and follow with a forceful crunch action. this will take you higher and allow you to stand rather than land in a full squat.
Love it! This circuit looks additively painful. Don't know about the kip ups though. Got any tips on how to do them? I've tried in the past w/ no success, but then again, I have the coordination of a house fly.

You may have a mobility issue. Check out your ankle flexibility. I have yet to have a male client walk in the door who didn't have locked up ankles.

good eye. a broken ankle and a reconstructed ACL are to blame for the inflexibility. Mobility is definitely something I'm always working on.

try the kip ups on soft ground:)
Remember to push as hard with your arms as you kick your feet forward.
