The common mistake you're making is you are assuming that democrats and republicans are in two different camps.. They are not! There is little difference between McCain or Obama as it relates to these issues. I have to try to get this across every time I hear someone close to the truth.. It's not a "right" vs. "left" thing. They are two different ideologies reaching for the same goal. They are just going about it in different ways. So, for Bush, it makes no difference who wins this election.
