Double Dare is a documentary following Zoe Bell (Lucy's stunt double on Xena) as she goes to America to 'make it' so to speak. It follows her as she goes on auditions, including one with Quenton Tarantino for Uma Thurman's stunt double on Kill Bill - which she got! Also follows another stunt woman who Zoe stays with who was the original Wonder Woman stunt double. Great doco!
Yeah, I believe she studied dance for quite a few years when she was young. This is why so much of the fighting came more naturally to her than Lucy as she said she just interpreted them as dance moves.
I don't mean + wouldn't like ofending her fans, but I prefer Lucy's way by far! Maybe it's more difficult for her since she says she was uncoordinated and all, but even so, Lucy's fighting scenes look SO extremely real to me, it's like WOW, that woman can act, man, she must be giving like a 5000%, it really looks like she's desperately fighting for her life! Whereas with ROC is, Oh, man, someone tell that woman this is not a fraking Broadway musical, their supposed to be fighting, NOT dancing!
Zoe Bell has some fun with vulgarity at 1:35. I think some of the sound was dubbed in later, but it's still a kick. Belongs on a gag reel, somewhere.

Judging by that, Renee doesn't need any stuntwoman, she's perfect to do it by herself

She's such a great actor and performer and you'll notice she's the type of person that touches people, which shows her compassionate side too.

Love Renee! Man that woman was flexible! Having been a dancer in her early life certainly helped when it came to fighting the bad guys!

Was she a dancer??? Wow, I had no idea! Now it makes sense (I always said in the eps when gabrielle fought, it seemed to me like she was dancing...)
