I apologize that some people in this world think differently than you. Contrary to what you may think, your four years of service to your contrary were not mentioned in the video, and I'm sorry if that was not made clear. Also not included in the subject matter of this film were: generations before (or after) World War One, or various conflicts, or other parts of the world. I was unaware it was a terrible thing to love hippies, though that was also not inferred in the video.

I like the way all these people come on saying 'it's disrespectful to those who died'. Great art it certainly isn't (sorry guys) but disrespectful... What's really disrespectful is how politician's today abuse the memory of the dead to justify today's wars and manipulate public opinion. Note how they commemorate the dead but rarely recall those severely wounded and disfigured (many more) - these might lessen public appetite for war...

At 1:30 an English soldier (at least that's a picture of an Engish soldier) says we've got to kill the French. If this is really a history project, you guys must be bloody terrible at it, because in WW1 (as in WW2) Great Britain and France were allies. Get your facts right. This war cost around 16 million soldiers' and civilian lives. War is hell indeed and certainly not to made fun about this way. Greetings

deraggative concerning the reference to the french. though there were acts of brutality, tributes to germanic bararism, such as lack of mercy and utter sluaghter of innocents, the germans didnt use language like lets go kill the french, or get your "butt" off the ground solider, notice that the germans wernt on the side of the american or birtish forces who there didnt even use these terms yet, though they were in the word bank, but not viewed as classful language and still arent viewed as such

Viewing this video, i have come to the conclusion that the heroes and sacrifices of ww1 have been forgotten and have been even discredited by the american youth. The World conflict at the turn of the 20th centruy is not a period of time to make fun of, you unenlightened, inpertinent, impudent adolescents. You have successfully shamed my generation.
