@Eminem320320 I believe you, that's actually very common. Most people I've seen that start getting the hang of WJ are noticeably better at one side over the other, before enough practice comes that they're equally coordinated at each. In my case when I was still learning it, I would actually alternate between doing left but not right, and right but not left.

idk, I'm still not getting it. I'm possibly going to fast or too slow, but if I'm standing on a platform and I jump at the wall,I just don't get the running animation. =_=

@InuAres There could be lots of reasons why, but make sure that you're falling when you hit the wall - you've got to hit the apex of your jump and start losing altitude before you hit the wall for the first time to get the run animation.

@bulletshot35 Last I checked, you jumped the same height whether you tapped or held Up, so the only way to do 'short' wall jumps is to let yourself fall down a bit more than you might normally. Though I'm not sure what you mean by 'short', so I'm stabbing in the dark here.

@TheNoobformers Of course. But it's also a technique that has significant utility that requires some skill, and isn't game breaking, it's quite a significant aspect of the gameplay. Even if it's a glitch, I believe the game is better for it.

Geez, it's nearly been a year since this was uploaded.. and yes, when this video was made, it was common to only have 2 or 3 people wall jumping, and a mere week or two before it was common to be the -only- wall jumper.

The thing most people dont think about is the fact that you hit the wall, move back, THEN jump, and hit the wall, move back, THEN jump, hit the wall, and so forth. Most people try to move back and jump at the same time. Which messes you up EPICLY.

A SINGLE wall jump can be done by run FALLING into a wall (I said FALLING), and you dont stop moving towards the wall until you get the run animation. After you get that run animation, you press JUMP, and you can jump.

To do MULTIPLE wall jumps you simply get away, then return to the wall after every SINGLE wall jump. THE CATCH IS, you go back and return 1) not too late so you fall 2) not too soon so you don't hit the wall while going UP

Left, Up, Right, repeat. This is assuming the wall is on your right; if it's on your left, then Right, Up, Left.

I didn't explicitly say this because the difficulty is knowing how to do, not what to do. It's not like punching in the konami code.

The mud level is very helpful if you wish to practise wall jumping. You get stuck in the mud so you cant fall, giving you more time.

Upside down WJing on a wall to your left is exactly like normal WJing on a wall on to your right and vice versa.

This was like the first thing I learned how to do. Seeing as I've played a lot of GunZ in my day it was only common sense that the animations are bugged giving me the chance to do this, but I didn't really need this tutorial. A background song could do it some justice.
