i think the trick would be better if you do not let someone pick the number of the card because it can not be effectively something else than that 5 and the 7(depending on what stack you do it with)

apart from that, great performance(except i think u showed me ONE "flash of the trick" when u overhand shuffled)

I think the plain, black table top plays a large part in the illusion.
