Hey, your artwork is beyond words.. Really breathtaking.. I´ve heard that it takes about 10 000 hours to become an expert at something, weather it´s art, sports or anything else.. In your opinion. How many hours of practise would it take to go from a begginer to having this kind of technique that you are showing here??
this is insane! i love your style of shading, i thought this was just a "good drawing" until those little doodle like bits along the bottom, definitely made the picture, sooo good! im about to spend the next half an hour looking at all your other videos man ;)
I favorite'd this. This is sickly awesome. Did you randomly add stuff in the area below the hand or you really planned out ahead what and where you were going to put them?
@AnimatorZo2 I have a few questions I need to ask you. Hope you dont mind. Okay, first, I loved this! This was amazing and I hope one day I can draw that good. I wanted to know if you can buy this kind of pen by seperate, like by itself, without the whole set of different sized pens that I see in pictures. Also, how much does the 0.18 mm rotring rapidograph pen cost? And one more question, is all the shading a bunch of dots because I can just imagine how long that must've took you if it is.
@xXKhaoticRinoXx Yes, you can buy these pens separately, it is even possible to buy only the pen head, if you already have the base of another pen and want to replace its head. I think the 0.18 mm is about 40 to 50 dollars. The shading is indeed mostly done with dots, though I also occasionally use stripes.
Love this channel, the level of detail you put into your drawings is amazing. And i like it cause im inroads to this type of art, specially cause i have more fun doing this type of drawings. When you start one you never know how it will end, its up to how imaginative you can get to be.
@StarryNightArt I sketched out the earth and the hand, but the surrealistic/doodle-ish background I made up as I go, occasionally sketching out some of the details if I didn't think I'd be able to get it right in one go.
fucking impressive

@paul08the17awesome I never really plan out anything except for the broad picture, the details are more or less random, but often interconnected.

was the shading done with a pen in a stippling technique?

Wow =) you're really amazing! Do you just go for it on a clean piece of paper or do you sketch it out beforehand?
