  • This is ok but I liked the PBS documentary better....

  • he would have been the best rapper alive

  • I get nO audio here....

  • Fuck the epic rap battles of history. I'm here because Dr. Seuss is awesome.

  • Anyone here because of epic rap battle of history? :D

  • Wait did that say he chainsmoked?! I don't want to watch any more because it could ruin my image of him forever.

  • @110McKenna He also cheated on his wife and she got cancer and commit sucied. Life is just a bitch...

  • @110McKenna and no he didnt chian smoke.

  • When he was on To Tell the Truth dosn't Dr.Suess look like Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers)?

  • 4 people are Grinch's

  • Part 2?

  • @ThePixieEater Part 2 is uploaded, you just have to search the channel. It's in a different place because it was removed due to copyright infringement and I had to re-upload it with the inffringing part removed. But it is definitely there. Thanks for looking.

  • I love the Grinch movie. its not that good or anything compared to the book or the cartoon, but at least Ron Howard and Jim Carrey were trying. there was effort put forward to make a plot, and for me it worked.

The Cat in the Hat, on the other hand, is an unholy demon spawned from the underearthly depths of comedy hell by Mike Myers and Brian Grazer. Paris Hilton in a Dr. Seuss movie o_0? fuck that shit

  • The amazing writer! He will become a legend forever!

  • Dr. Seuss books are like Mother Goose rhymes on acid!

  • thank you for posting!!! Dr. Seuss was the last genius (the king of Imagination) along with Jim Henson, I believe :))) true writers.

  • If it wern't for him being shy, smoking and drinking, he could have live to today.

  • @bcguy216 Are you out of your stupid fucking mind? And how old would this great man be do you think? I agree it wasnt good for him but check out the year he was born cunt.

  • this thing just had to use that sorry excuse for a cat and the hat movie. that thing was so bad it made the over extended Grinch live action seem like a masterwork.

  • @BrokenFWD DAmned straight. Well said. both of them were botched abortions.

  • Oh man he is so pisces it's so funny.

Pisces are the most artistic, imaginative, reclusive, escapist (need our alone time away from reality) poetic, shy, easily distracted, inspirational.

I'm so proud of his love and work for children, I do believe he did love children but again the spot light or being centre focus is noy welcomed by alot of piscean. He seemd to really enjoy is alone time.

  • FAIL its pronounced dr. SOICE like voice

  • Humans have always bin inventing words because of necessity, how do you think language was invented in the first place

  • How can I get this video to play the audio on my speaker system? It plays directly from my computer speakers but not over my system.

  • Sorry you've had problems with this, but I can't help you, sorry. The upload is in mono which obviously has something to do with it, but I don't know the solution. Thanks for loooking.

  • Why the hell are they showing the crappy live action movies

  • Nettie? Is that Henrietta's nickname?

  • I would have guessed that his mother read him stuff like The Wonderful Wizard of Oz & Alice in Wonderland. (Both books are older than him).

  • frabjous

  • My birthday is on Dr Seuss's birthday :o

  • I hate everybody..yadda yadda yadda. This has nothing to do with the fact that Dr. Seuss helped shape my childhood. Thank you for the post!

  • Can you upload In Search of Dr. Suess? Please?

  • Sorry, I don't have it.

  • in the description, it's Theodor Seuss Geisel. No e on the end of Seuss

  • lol...Does the bloody American accent get under your skin? Don't you love the way we pronounce the "O' like in 'pot' or 'hot'?

  • Shakespeare invented tons of words, lady.

  • 1,700

  • @vinylreality

Shakespeare was influenced by the bible.....without reading the bible he could not have written half he did...which is a sad truth because despite hating religion , the bible is well written

  • @goddesssugar That's a given though, considering the bible was the only source of literature most people were exposed to for hundreds of years.

  • @goddesssugar Yeah I read the bible too. It was interesting, but I have been imprinted with more moral values from Dr. Seuss than any other written work as a child :)

  • @vinylreality he invented "pickle" :))

  • @vinylreality yah but yung kids didnt read it

  • @vinylreality True, but as a fan of the Bard's as big as any other...

I think we can let the inaccuracy slide:

After all, there's no good in holding a grudge...even Prospero and the Grinch figure that one out. :)

    I grew up with Seuss,

    I grew into Shakespeare,

I love them both, dearly--they're the reason I'm an English major, and why I want to be a writer...

If you can affect even ONE person the way those two did, it's worth it--to affect millions, for decades or centuries...priceless. :)

  • this is fabulous. thank you !
