Is this just a studio project where you play all the instruments, or have you actually found people to perform live with? It sounds awesome and I'm no expert, but I believe you would have to be able to perform live to approach a record label. Nowadays, performing live is what makes bands earn money (Because of downloading), and making money is basically what the record labels want to :)

Okay, as someone who knows Da Schehf very well (I am his wife) I have to say something here... Schehf has his very own distinct style of guitar playing. He does not intend to 'sound' like ANY band when he plays. He sounds like HIMSELF whenever he plays his own stuff, not like any other guitar player. He is an artist with his own style. When he plays, his intention is not to sound like In Flames, not at all. He is a fan of In Flames and that genre of music, that is IT! The album is goood btw!

@Ellsming everyone's influence comes from somewhere, but the music is still original. You can hear a sound in just about every band that says "Hey, that was inspired by so-and-so." Schehf's work has been influenced a lot by In Flames, and being in a band that played In Flames songs, it's going to take several tracks, and a bit more confidence, I'm sure, to release something a little different.
