@thatsnazzyappleguy I'm a bit late, but no. It's considered a cosmetic modification without touching any of the internal components of the macbook, so... it's no different than slapping a sticker on.

the original artwork is disturbing, I don't like asian art at all, but the result was amazing, could be the best application for that painting ever!!

now thinking about getting mine engraved like that, this is cool really...

It was done by 4 Seasons Awards in Omaha, NE The owner (the guy who actually ran the laser and engraved it) is Rick Dischler
