I have two declawed persian cats that are about 3-4 years old. Ive been wanting a German Shepperd for awhile now. Is it safe for me to get one as a puppy even though the cats have no claws? I get very nervous if they should be tackled and have no claws to defend themselves. Will this be okay? Somebody please let me know.

That is so cute! When I was young we had a sweet black and white kitty and also a German Shephard, very beautiful --- like yours. :) And I remember one year our German Shephard badly injured her leg --- and our black and white kitty never left her side. Whenever we would check in on our dog -- there the cat would be --- covering the dog with kisses or curled up against her tummy.

It makes you think that if "sworn enemies" such good friends --- what is the matter witht he rest of the world?

It's a long coat German Shepherd. I have one too, almost a year old. GSDs are the very best companion dogs you could ever wish for, and long coats are the best looking, imho ;-)
