  • Who are you speaking to? He's speaking to me.

  • so are these lacto fermented pickles? im making a batch right now, i didnt boil the water but i did wash and sanitize the jar and i used pure spring water. its been 3 days since i put them in and its already pretty dark olive green like the 2 week old ones you showed.

  • @NautilusDubstep Not lacto-fermented, as they use vinegar to acidify the brine. There is no vinegar in a lacto-frermented pickle as the bacterial process converts the sugar in the cukes to lactic-acid. for lacto-fermented, see "How to Make Dill Pickles with Lacto-Fermentation" at jpeteryoung youtube channel.

  • I really enjoyed the video! very informative! I was wondering what size jars are those you're using? I'm planning on pickling cucumbers but I'm trying to gather as much info. as possible. I was going to purchase the BALL MASON jars but found out that the DOME LIDS have to be replace with each use, which will cost to much! I notice that you didn't WATER BATH your jars. Would it be safe to WATER BATH a 64oz or 128oz jar when everything is completed?

  • love it,,,the kids are so cute...i have ate pickles just now hehe

  • "We had a tripple pickle, but it died." lol

  • Good video thanks, any idea how long they will keep if you leave them sealed ?
