@flamedrag18 SSCS is protected under the the UN charter for nature, it states that anyone who can must defend endangered species (clauses 21-24). I know it is very broad, and that SSCS are pretty close to being illegal, but they still are legal.
besides, what are laws made for? they are made to defend territorial, economical, and (most importantly) moral values. I believe exterminating a species is immoral, and so I believe that the ICR is commiting a crime even if it is a legal loophole.

The SS people however, ram the whaler ships, engage in basically low-grade chemical warfare by throwing toxic chemical stuff onto the whaler ships, vandalize the whaler ships, and have illegally boarded the whaler ships. The ICW has condemned the actions of the SS crew. The SS is no different than any other eco-terrorist group. They should be arrested.

Research whaling of Japan is mainly catching the Minke whale in the South Pole. The number of permissions assigned to Japan is 400 animals at every year. There are 800,000 Minke whales in the South Pole. Are they exterminated?
