  • That was pretty cool! I used to get to fly sea planes at my camp when I was a kid. We never turned like that while taking off! right on :-)

  • good skills.. i think u adjusted your flaps to stabalize the plane on the turns... thx for the great video..

  • weight and balance can be your friend :P

  • he is a great pilot in my book

  • Nice smooth takeoff, pretty.

  • You English good

  • why is he nuts???

  • WTF was so crazy about this.....gay!

  • the pilot was calmer than the wind

  • no guys there only was a big fish on the hook...ahhm floats... :D crazy..

  • Don't you people read the description before wasting your time posting comments.

  • who said runways were straight! :P

  • The art of flying

  • thats actuialy a 185

  • @hordurhs looks like a 180 to me, 185's base of the tail area connecting to the fuselage is bigger.

  • @hordurhs its a 180

  • Nice flying man. Love the plane. Your job rocks. Hoping to join you someday soon :) Will be working on my sea plane rating soon :D :D

  • KIND OF LOOK LIKE YOUR PLANE WAS A LITTLE HEAVY.

  • Seen it before. It's not that crazy for people that work rivers. Looked good to me for the space you had.

  • i would never fly a sea plane you need lots of room and luck

  • @MrMcflurry2 not really, you just needa know your airplane ;)

  • @MrMcflurry2 you sould try it out though

  • @MrMcflurry2 you need neither lots of room nor luck, you need enough distance to take off given your airplanes capabilities and conditions. That was a heavy load for a 180 but he had loads of runway, if your a pilot i suggest getting your seaplane rating, Most pilots say it was one of the best things they have ever done. there are no pilots who rely on luck, the ones who did are dead.

  • @MrMcflurry2 Why would you fly at all then? I bet you wouldnt fly a tailwheel plane either.

  • @MrMcflurry2 ive been flying floats for years, your statement makes you look stupid and uneducated.

  • @MrMcflurry2 Some planes dont even need floats, If there wheels are big enough! they walk on water!

  • when your good you know it.

  • When she is due for an engine you should consider the 300 hp upgrade and a robertson stol kit then she will be a performer the plane looks like it dont like to fly in your videos even with the loads on and the stol conditons you fly in

  • Yikes! I'll bet sombody had a pucker string quivering!

  • Holy smokes, nicely done

  • nicely done, smooth turns

  • had a full moose and hunter and his gear on board - roughly 900~ lbs and had to clear about 100~foot high trees, So no, i dont do anything "for show"

  • @Kaminsky15

    Aloha Buddie,,

Take a second look at the floats, he's just heavy... Great flying, look how

once airborne, he let's the airplane fly, even to the point, of holding the

wings level, and skid's a little around to the right, to miss the trees..

This guy, can fly, and does a great job.... I'd ride with him anywhere...

  • Never pull up on the control...don't force it.

  • maybe when it comes to unlimited amounts of river or lake to take off of, but in the bush, we are delt with obsticales, river bends, varying degrees of factors, and when shes ready to fly, you can make her fly by popping her off the water. I been flying for 15+ years

  • He not nuts,he skillful.

  • haha shoot nevermind I just read the description....

  • that a 180?

  • yeah, a Cessna 180 mate :P

  • you right

  • Very nice work! Seems like it would be tough to dig cloth out of your crack after that, but maybe you are used to that kind of take off!!!

  • Love that engine playing a wilderness song!

  • Too cool! Did he keep it on the water on purpose to do the fancy turns or was he trying to takeoff the whole time?

  • trying to take off the whole time, heavy load & short distance to take off

  • I've heard of pucker factor before but that's some serious muscle control to be able to pucker around corners like that. LOL!!

  • that looks so fun. i think i'd like to be a bush pilot

  • Top quality step turning.....

  • WOW thats some good skills

  • gett'r done. great piloting

  • hahah that was awesome! been there!

  • THATS WAS GREAT !
