  • Can't get enough. I wouldn't use the apron though.

  • i love this musical sooo much. i've looked every where online to watch the WHOLE musical online i even tried looking on Amazon and eBay to see if they DVD but they don't. does anyone know where i can watch The 1998 revival cast online? i would really appreciated it very much!

    thanks!!!!

  • This song is the national anthem for adventure!

  • @bbSouthstreet or to stand up to tyranny...

  • Waaayyy too much makeup :L

  • @Otody It's meant for a live audience, not camera close ups.

  • Terrance Mann didn't last too long - he was replaced by Rex Smith after a few months. I was fortunate enough to see the show (Smith was already in the cast) and it was fantastic! I recall the critics having very mixed reviews, but audiences didn't care - it was sold out for many, many months. Frank Wildhorn also did Jekyll & Hyde - not as good a production, but still a very good musical.

  • this is my first time ever seeing this and hearing this and its incredible!! that man has an amazing set of lungs on him.

  • This is my favorite song in the entire world. I have no idea why this score isn't better-known.

  • @BaronVonMeggles I'm watching this video (again) right now because of your Facebook note. Just want to say.

(Also, sorry for creeping and for my awful username)

  • luv the pimpernel :)...wish to see videos of Terrence Mann and Christine Andreas too

  • This song is the most fun I've ever had in a choir...we sang it in Erich Kunzel's Broadway Rocks show at Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto and all of the altos were overjoyed at being allowed to join in at the end...I wish there was a revival of this musical. I'd go in a second!

    Great performance.

  • Douglas Sills: LOVELY gentleman and fabulous talented actor/singer! I always loved this song.... I saw it in Chicago in June 2000. Loved the story, the music, sets, and lighting..... and the cast recordings are fabulous as well....

  • If they ever have a revival of the Scarlet Pimpernel. im going to see it. I would love it if they hired Douglas Sills to reprise the famous role. of Sir Percy Blakeney. AKA. The Scarlet Pimpernel.

  • This should have beaten The Lion King handily ....

  • great!!!

but was this show an economical success?

  • @Trekker3687 Well it didn't floped. It opened TWICE on Broadway and runed for I think over 3 years and was nominated for a couple of Tonys...so despite the critics I think the show did well. It's an AMAZING show (proof is that it has been staged world-wide) and was very underestimated on B'way as normaly Frank's shows are. The final script of the show would have easly won the Tony (the nomination for Best Script was given to the 1st version)

  • Love it, Douglas Sills' laugh is simply priceless :D 2:04 - 2:10 has to be my favourite part!

  • Oh yeah thats the good stuff

  • beautiful, just beautiful!

  • this song is hard to sing.. oh my!! it gives me goosebumps... i really love broadway!

  • wonderful :)

  • o_O My God that man has lungs!!!!! last note.... WOW!
