A while ago we caught a mouse in your typical kill-trap. Unfortunately it didn't work as planned, and it was alive for at least 15 minutes after being caught. Its lower half seemed to be paralyzed, and it was slipping in and out of what appeared to be shock. Eventually it died of its injuries, but since then we've been looking for alternatives. "Kill-traps" can be unreliable at times, and since then we've looked for something that works every time.
@demonwithasoul We all heard the trap go off, but didn't know it was still alive until the 15 minutes later, when we checked. You can imagine how my mom reacted when it was still crawling around.
