  • I saw him in Jekyll & Hyde in LA before it went to Broadway! My Aunt and I just looked at each other wide mouthed when we saw him appear onstage...WOW! Hunk! And, talented!

  • Anthony Warlow is preferable for me.

  • awesome, chills down my spine

  • OHMYFREAKINGGOD, I'M IN LOVE.

  • He floored me. I am ready for psychiatric therapy sessions for thinking I could sing. Haha. Gosh, this was totally impressive and beyond description. Truly awe inspiring performance. Bravo!

  • What else is there of Robert Cuccioly but what pertains one ore the other with Jekyll and Hyde?

  • The best by far.

  • Perfect.

  • Rosie, if all you did on your show was to bring Broadway at it's best to us all.. that alone is epic. Thank you.

  • Incredible. Incredible. The best of the best rendition. You get the meaning, have the momentum. It's epic. You are SO right for this. Brilliant. I'm standing and apploauding in my head. Unforgettable.

So many others think of it as a nice ballad and it's such a shame. The song is too big for most everyong.

  • He is so handsome. Beautiful voice.

  • He is good. But an absolute beginner compared to the GOD that is Anthony Warlow. Dont feel bad Robert. Warlow is the best voice to ever live on our planet...

    (your welcome)

  • He's undoubtedly the HOTTEST Jekyll/Hyde (and especially Hyde!) we've ever had! God, I just had an orgasm...

  • Anthony Warlow still the best!

  • adam lambert has a twin O.O

  • he has a show coming up at the Strand in Lakewood, NJ (may 1, 2011). cant wait to see (hear) him

  • he can make a gay women go straight... Rosie, lol

  • Anthony Warlow, Robert Cuccioli, Erik Santos, Michael Santos, Rob Evan, Michael Ball, and David Hasselhoff...all good. I like Rob Evan and Robert Cuccioli, particularly. but that's just me.

  • @oldmanhemmaha Rob Evan is the best in my opinion. Check out Chuck Wagner, he was the original.

  • I sat 8th row center in Houston -- last show before they hit broadway -- and heard Bob sing this song in Jekyl & Hyde. It was AWESOME!!!

  • His good but not that good.try to search guys "this is the moment" by Erickson santos this guy is better than this broadway singer..

  • @jg220611 I have heard santos, he's crap, his voice is too modern and he is foreign. To sing this song properly you have to be able to do an american/english accent. Anthony Warlow, Rob Evan and Robert Cuccioli are way better than Santos.

  • @jg220611

sorry my friend but erik santos version probably is better than david...but really isn't as par with Robert.

  • Saw him live when Jekyll & Hyde was on Broadway. Amazing voice - I've heard all the Jekyll & Hyde soundtracks and still think the original Broadway cast is the best. But, that's just me. LOL

  • I like he goes right in for the lips... Rosie is a hot piece of rump

  • HOLY CRAP, THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

  • Still don't know who I like more. Anthony Warlow or Robert Cuccioli. They are both amazing!! This is one of the most beautiful musical songs ever written.

  • Still don't know who I like more. Anthony Warlow or Robert Cuccioli. They are both amazing!!

  • WOW, what a moment. Chills, simply amazing

  • Amazing!

  • just gotta say how unbelievably attractive this man is. everything about him is compelling and passionate--his voice, his face...his expression.

    LOVE YOU :)

  • He is good. But no Anthony Warlow :) either way, they are all better than me haha. I love this, Alive Reprise, and Confrontation from this play!

  • He sounds good, but he opens his mouth too wide.

  • Love him since I was a little kid and heard him sing Stars in les mis. Just stunning! I love him!

  • I've seen him perform, and it was even more heartrending the the play "Joseph..." You should see him in full costume, fully in the part. It's beautiful.

  • And now I have been reminded why this is my favorite male solo in this show if not in any musical I've seen.

  • Oh, Robert. Why aren't we married...?

  • Robert is so Handsome and gives me goosebumps when he sings. He has the most fantastic voice I have ever heard. He was so increditable in Jekyll & Hyde.

  • I had always love this song..marry me.

  • I like this version, but I have to honestly say that Anthony Warlow puts more "OOMPH" into the song.

  • no joke- this guy is the guest artist in our production of the rock musical 2 gentlemen of Verona, and he is freakin amazing, everyone's gonna get quality time with him (and probably autographed memorobilia as well), its amazing!!!!!!

  • Holy fuck...

You know I can't imagine what it takes to be able to do that on the drop of a dime, with people coming from all over the country to see you perform this 8 times a week.

And lets not forget Frank Wildhorn. The man is simply touched by God when it comes to composing music.

  • whay is he soooooo sexy

  • I saw the Cooch in this role(s) way back 13 or so years ago. I've heard many talented male vocalists sing live -- Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael Ball, George Hearn, Raul Esparza, Norm Lewis -- and, while they all have beautiful voices, I have to say that Cuccioli's voice is an unmatched sensation; it rings like a victory bell. He has the sort of raw, iconoclastic voice that could sing the phone-book and make it sound like a three-act-play in song.

  • I have to agree with theatredrok that he does have an odd pronunciation of some vowels, but there are two things in which he excels. The first is sustain, and the second is that he makes the song his own. In that sense he is a powerful and captivating vocalist. I don't know if I like the "squeaks" which pepper almost every measure after he reaches forte. One or two would be OK, but every phrase?

  • Cucccioli, sullying his good name on the rosie show. for shame.

  • @889fgb Rosie is actually responsible for bringing a lot of Broadway shows on her show and introducing many Americans to musical theater. She really helped the Broadway community with free promotion. She deserves praise for that.

  • he is sooooo sexy i want to dod a show with him soooo BADLY

  • his vowels are disgusting. that is why he sounds so strange.

  • @theatredrok

Are you serious?! His vowels are perfect.

Untrained singers sing "When all I've doan." Cuccioli sings "When all I've done."

Untrained singers sing "Becomes moin." Cuccioli sings "Becomes mine."

Untrained singers sing "My final taaaste." Cuccioli sings "My final test."

And the amount of passion and grit he puts into this is unmatched.

  • @AtLastOnTheGround

Yes, I am serious...as a vocal performance major and diction TA, I think I know what I am talking about. I am assuming by your response that you have some background in singing so I will use vocal terms as well as IPA, that I assume you understand. His vowels seem strange because he uses to much of an [a] formation. "When all I've done," he actually sings [dan]...one, he sings [wan]...even his test is not right...he mixes the open and closed "e" and makes it sound awkward.

  • @theatredrok

I see what you mean about the [a] formation. But I don't think it sounds awkward. Ah well, to each his own.

  • He is very technically correct, but his voice has some weird quality i can't really explain. I can't decide if it's good or bad...

  • He's does a great job on this but gotta give the edge to Warlow.

  • Robert Cuccioli was AMAZING in Jekyll & Hyde.....an AWESOME performance. No one could top him. Saw Hasselhoff-->he kept sniffling....yikes.

  • one word: amazing.

  • Way better than the Hoff

  • I was listening to this while doing chores and was able sat now and watch the video. Can I say that the way he opens his mouth to enunciate the vowels was just sooo right?!! Technically correct, he was passionate in his singing! Wow, Robert!

  • The greatest rubbish is you :P

  • WOW!! YOUR Stupid!!!!

  • This is one of my favorite songs from Jekyll and Hyde.

  • What makes him even more attractive is to see how touched he was by that fanatic reception of his performance.

  • Well done

  • THIS is exactly the way this song should be sung! Love it!

  • Very average when compared to the post "Anthony Warlow singing "This Is The Moment" live"...

  • I love Anthony Warlow's version. Warlow is my most favorite male singer. But in fairness to Cuccioli, he did amazingly well. I love his emotions and delivery.

  • my favorite rendition of this moving song

  • cucci-stick-it-in-my-holie is awesome!

I've worked with him (summer stock)

  • LMAO!!!

    Lucky you!

  • I saw the original cast on Broadway. He was incredible. Alan was amazing too, but with how demanding this role was, I really thought Robert should have won the Tony.

  • I blame Leslie Bricusse's lackluster - to put it nicely - libretto.

  • I could watch him all day. He looks exactly like my father did. My friends would say, OMG, that's your father? He was that handsome and Italian to boot. Makes me miss him more....

  • gut!!!!!!!

  • to anyone who says this guy sucks, I challenge you to post a video of you singing this song. You can't just say "this guy is horrible!" without stating some level of evidence. Point out some parts where he sucks and say why, don't just bash him.

I personally think he's fantastic and he's my favorite actor to play this role. Though I would have liked if he moved around more.

  • He was told not to move around because of the show's camera choreography.

  • I'll believe that.

  • I had to sing this once!!! LOL

  • Love his overbite...

  • Saw him in the show...took my breath away. Very hot!!!!

  • @jkate457 so did i. i loved it

  • @jkate457 He's even hotter when he's Hyde (:

  • are you serious?!! rob cooch has an AMAZING voice!

  • 3:46 She kisses him :O

What I wouldn't do to be rosie at that moment!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • he could become a george clooney look-a-like!!

  • He has aged well. As long as he does not have facial hair. I am not so fond of him with a mustache, lol.

  • My favorite Jekyll/Hyde! I love his voice. Amazing.

  • I'm in love. What I wouldn't give to have him sing to me...

  • @JohnnyRzezniksGirl I share your exact sentiments.

  • @JohnnyRzezniksGirl that seems like a dangerous game, it would make you have a new life!

  • Does anybody knows that this song was plagiarized from Silvio Berlusconi, (actual italian leader), for the official anthem of his party? Search for "Inno Forza Italia".

  • shudnt have brethed before last note

    other than that excellent

  • tht last note is about 20 seconds long if he didnt breath he would have passed out... this is really great! =]

  • i meant he shuda sang "the greatest moment of(breathe)them all"....instead of ".....of them(breathe)all"

    doesnt matter still excellent

  • In that case, I think he should have breathed after moment instead.

  • duznt sound right tho

  • I really wish they had made a video of him on DVD as well. I'd love to see the Original J&H :)

  • I was just in a Broadway cabaret show at my university, and a girl did this song. It sounds beautiful sung by either gender.

  • this vocal part is about as hard as the star spangel banner....he does a good job though

  • If you like this video please also check out, rate, and comment on BRAD ROBINS's version of "This is the Moment" thanks :)

  • Passionate, emotive and totally totally moving. Bravo Robert Bravo you sing this the best (big smoochies to you MWAH MWAH MWAH)

    cheers for sharing

    Lyn (Sydney, Australia)

  • *heart*

That is all I have to say.

  • I don"t know what you people heard who are ripping him apart, but he was AWESOME!

  • excellent version, lovely voice ...

    please check out my version.

    Id love your opinions....

    thnx... dave wayne

  • This is BETTER than his recording on CD!

  • omg im surprised he made it through this entire song...his laranx is dancein all over his throat and he ripped it apart...hes not gonna be able to do that for very long...

  • He is by far the best Jekyll/Hyde ever.

  • Amazing .. does anyone have the video of him surprising that girl on Rosie? That was the best.

  • Robert Cuccioli was my favorite Broadway J&H, but I think Anthony Warlow is the best overall.

  • You're absolutely right!

  • I love his voice. He is the true Jekyll/Hyde.

  • Does anyone know where I can find him singing "Confrontation"? I found one where you just hear his voice, but I can't find one where you actually see him sing. Thanks!

    Man I love his voice!

  • *sigh* Such a lovely song. Too bad he's like 5 minutes away from becoming Hyde.

  • Now is he the original J&H?

  • Technically no. He was the first Broadway Jekyll but there were two concept albums before that plus a Houston run and a national tour before he was known as Jekyll and Hyde. Colm Wilkinson (original Valjean from Les Miserables) is technically the original, followed by Anthony Warlow who many believe sang this song better. However I believe Cuccioli is a better Jekyll.

  • Cuccioli is simply wonderful! He's amazing!

  • And one more thing, too: I think he's very handsome.

  • +1000 thumbs up...

  • only one guy can sing this....check out Anthony Warlow!!!

  • Awesome!

  • He is really great. Flawless presentation.

  • his best one ive heard here!
