  • fmj went through those plates!?!?!? thats awesome

  • a shotgun slug does the same thing... waaaay cheaper dude.

  • That rock didnt actually get hit by the bmg. Chuck Norris looked at it

  • sweet pea shooter

  • Dear Santa...............

  • pigman50 message me if you like and I'll give you my load data for my hunting load. Note it should do very well on anything you shoot with it. Tim

  • What kind of bullets do you use? I have lots of A-MAX 750's but have trouble reloading them due to their long length and my Lee die which isn't designed for such ogive. I need to find a solution. If your using A-MAX then I would be interested, but I don't plan on making any other loads than some cheaply loaded ball from time to time. . .to many different loads with all the different calibers I shoot.

  • Bad ass vid man, love to do that with my 50BMG Bohica. Tim

  • ROCK? WHAT ROCK

  • IT TORE THE BUCKET IN HALF! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA!

    FUKIN EPIC.

  • what rock? i thought you were gonna shoot a rock not a water balloon hahaha

  • Thats how they need to start making roads.... forget all the big equipment to break the rocks just use a 50 bmg!!!!!

  • The rock totally vaporized. :O

  • @pROTPANDA Look closer, there is a big chunk flying to the right actually. However if the rock would've had no place to go, yes, it'd have vaporized :D

  • Big

    Motherfuckn

    Gun

  • round hits rock, rock disappears, sand falls from sky.

  • great footage

  • Comment removed

  • i have a question...Where did the rock go after the "Squangssssss" sound? :)

  • @kryptoniterxn117 into a million peices, this gun destroys anything it hits including rock and steel

  • e size of a pumpkin

  • The ammo used on the steel plate was armor piercing or just FMJ?

  • @aleborina FMJ

  • nsv ftw

  • how much dose one bullet cost?

    50 cal

  • it used to be about $ a round. Now its about $ 4-5, so I started reloading which is saving a lot.

  • Between $3 and 5 or so unless you reload and its less.

  • @AAYMF I buy them from a shooting supply store and there 6$ a round if you re-load it's significantly less.

  • that shot would blow a human in half O.O

  • awesome!

  • huh. all i saw was mass explosions completely obliterating. there was no longer a rock.

  • you turned that rock to sand

  • that gun is so frickin beastly maybe one day when i weigh more than the gun itself ill shoot it x] cool video too lol

  • id be careful shooting rocks, the rock particles would be moving at the same speed that the bullet was going when it struck the rock

  • really???

  • yea

  • nope only halfe about 1400-1500 fps

  • 1. How would you know? 2. does it matter? something only has to go 300 fps to perforate skin.

  • well first of all 100% of the energy is not put into the particles. 2nd the small pieces will lose their energy pretty quickly due to air resistance.

  • either way, it would be better to air on the precautionary side

  • yeah well i think safety should be taught to anyone that is given a firearm of any kind and is explained the danger of shooting any sort of target.

  • less then that depending on the shape. if its super dull takes more energy but if it has a pointed tip less.

  • Hello,you have nice videos...all

    50BMG is cool!

  • i could take one of them in my stomach i think...if i covered the blood loss i could

  • boom.....$5, boom cclank.....$5 haha, thats some expensive ammo

  • Should be right at 3-4 dollars per shot. If you reload, it would be slightly cheaper.

  • lol .577 nitro ammo is 80$-100$ per shot

  • 10-20 dollars haha.

  • Wow, amazing what it did to a 5 gallon pail, those things are pretty tough.

Check out some of my vids, lots of shooting stuff, and some shooting a 50bmg at an indoor range

  • So--would this be a good cartridge for killing prairie dogs, squirrels, and other "varmints?"

  • Provided you had the pocket book for that hobby.

  • You mean obliterating.

  • @WithBACON my friend shot a squirrel with a 30-30 and it exploded:P

  • thats what happens when u get a headshot on a human with one of thohse...small hole in front....all fuckd up in the back...if theres anything left that is...

  • I woulden't want to be shot by that gun..

  • i would i think i could take one in the shoulder

  • Cool. Where are you? Washington? B.C.? Looks like the west coast. I'd buy a .50 but I don't have $5000 for the gun or $5/shot for the ammo =-/

  • uve never shot a gun in ur life stfu

  • HOW the fuck do you know? If you'd be hit by the .50 bmg in the the knee, the rest of it, the hip even would be ripped off, and the after effects would most likely be strong enough to kill you by blod loss.

  • More bullshit.

  • ....You played way tooooo much Counter Strike boy....A shoot in the foot will kill you - lol - I would love to hear your explaination :)

  • i just said if u got shot u will die..i guess u dont kno how to read

  • You said: "..and if u got shot by 1 of those no matter where u got shot at ur still guna die"....and I said u wont die by a shoot into your feet.....its time for u to learn how to read ;)

  • dude u can die by ANY gun to the foot,u could bleed to deaht..i mean the chances are small but it IS possiable :) :P

  • Its funny the way we calmly say things like we are 'allowed' to have this or that in where ever.

It just shows how conditioned we all are. Who exactly decided we would have global gun control? Or have to ask permission to 'own' anything for that matter?

Watch out for UN Agenda 21 coming to a place near you soon.

  • Best post I think I've ever heard.......

  • Thanks, you caught me here in UK (home of gun control) just about to hit the sack.

Try "Alan Watt", that is where I learn't a lot about what is behind all this gun & control s£$t.

  • great video. thanks

  • 00:37, holy shit. If you get hit by that you are fucking dead.

  • Na, you could make it if you got hit... in the foot.

  • Lol if you get hit in the foot the shockwave will take your whole leg, break your hip, and your back. To state it more accuratley, if the enemy has one and you dont shoot him first, your fucked and out of luck.

  • Bullshit.

  • Yeah it's legal. The Barrert M82A1 .50cal will set you back a good $9,000 though. You can even purchase a Long Range Basics class for another $1,500

  • Is that gun even legal lol the blew the crap out of that steel plate

  • in the USA, yes.

  • And in other countries. In the UK for example, you can buy a 50 cal provided you have the firearms certificate. There's a few available in the UK: AW50, Nemesis, Steyr and there's some barretts floating about the country. The Nemesis is good value at around £3300, the AW50 is £7600.

  • Thats great! U just blew apart a TURTLE!

  • no its just a round/smooth river rock.

  • Synthetic 75W-90....good choice...;)

  • was that last shot a turtle?

  • bääääääääääääm^^

  • i wish i could buy a gun like that but in new york u cant even buy a pistol not even air rifles any more

  • DUH you have to be 21 in most states to get a pistol

shotguns are like 18 in most

  • Yes, but not in New York - Chestnted.

  • new york its 18 for any semi-automatic rifle. new york city you can own a shotgun and any rifle not considered to be an "assault weapon" if you have a permit

  • that's not the sound of a gunshot. that's the sound of an explosion. :)

  • what's it cost per bullet

  • $3.10 for match grade stuff like what was shot in this bucket. I think I will start reloading to save though.

  • I still like to see the metal piece before shooting. If 50 BMG rounds can do that, there is no need for armor-piercing rounds. 13,000 foot-pounds of energy is impressive, but I am amazed by the thickness of the steel plate. 3/4" steel is a hunk of metal.

  • Yeah they are just the TTI Armory 650 gn FMJ loads you can buy at the local sportsmans store where they sell the .50 bmg guns. On my other video you can see what the steel core looks like after the copper was stripped off of it going through milk jugs full of water. I have had .300 win mag hunting loads almost go through as thick of metal, so i'm not suprised.

  • I would like to see the steel plate before shooting then after. If the round wasn't an armor piecing, it's hard to believe it went through 3/4" steel even though 50 Cal is powerful.

  • Believe it. That rounds is bigger then a 44mag with the casing. Not too mention the couple ounces of powder behind it.

  • The powder charges are more like 265grs for a 650gr bullet, but still, over half an ounce of powder? Damn. Reloading this means 26 rounds per pound of powder. By comparison a pound of powder loads:

    79 .300 Win magnum rounds

    155 .308 Win rounds

    269 .223 Rem rouns

(for this illustration I simulated miltary velocites, and bullet weights using civilian powder charge weight)

now someone correct me if I'm wrong, but 50 BMG is one of the few cartridges which actually costs MORE to reload! lol

  • That is sick

  • very cool thx for uploading :)
