@uruyo4ever Hey mate. I can explain a little. An FTP server is used to share files. You know Megaupload and Rapid Share? Those domains are useing an FTP server to upload and download. I think it can be used to share files in a game too, I am not sure. I hope I cleared a little bit up. Good luck!

Another question, say i upload a text file to my ftp server call "hello.txt" and in the text file it says something.

is it possible to make an ftp viewer so you have a text box and you search for the name of the file you want and it then comes up and then in a box with all the infomation in the text file

its worse . why? because uploadfile i think doesnt use credentials there are protected directorys and it wood display an error ! ^^
