Wow this's Unique video looking nice & attractive. I like this video. You have AN INCREDIBLE style of presenting good quality of video. Thank you very much for providing us such a good information through your video.
It's a great amazing video. I heartily congratulates to you to implement such new concepts. It's really very informative video and it taught me many concepts. Thanks for our co-operation towards its (video) uploading and developing way.
(1)A great many of the new evils that have cropped up in Bhutan to spoil their isolated paradise were traced back to the all-powerful idiot box and the hypnotic effect it had on children especially. Work production has suffered because, in the middle of the day, people leave the fields to rush home and watch their favorite soap operas from India. Children in school began getting into fights mimicking the theatrical attacks of American WWF “wrestlers”.
(2)Suddenly, the Bhutanese began to know about high-tech toys, fashion trends, violent rap music and so on. Prior to modernization, as one Bhutanese youth said in the film, Bhutan was a poor country with rich people; “rich” because they were happy. However, television and the subsequent foreign products, clothes and devices have given them things to envy and spread dissension.
My ancestory is from near this region right down to my grandad but I dnt look like these folks, We speak Bengali our surname is Khan how is that right?
I'm astonished how neat is everything and people well-groomed with so less unnecessary splendour. That's a nice example to european and american people to go for. Bhutan's people aren't struggling with hyperconsumption, marriage breakdowns, for they seem to not be consuming natural goods AT ALL 0,o
what a great country still in its old ways, that is what i like about countries around the world that are still in there ``ancient era`s `` im glad a country like this still exists in the world screw the US they ruined them selves by being greedy and overpowered god bless us all that we still have a great country like bhutan and until today i never knew it existed and i am thankful it does.
Nice Video, but it will be better if you put some text information or narration on the event or places there. So we, the viewer, will understand what happened or where the events took place. But anyway, nice and clear video about a very beautiful and hidden country
@neatoauctions There is a nice article in Wikipedia if you look for Paro Taktsang. There is a walkway up to the tiger's nest - you can reach it within 90 minutes of walk following small pathes and a lot of stairways. And there are monks residing there permanently. It is a very beautiful place.
Great Video. I loved it. I have also made some great videos on how to travel to Bhutan and some personal as well as interesting videos. Check out my channel or visit my site lhayul(.)com
And regarding Bhutan being expensive. Well out of US$ 200, US$ 65 is government royalty which is for providing free education and health care. The remaining amount of US$ 135 is used by travel agents to pay for food, accommodation, hotels, guide, museum fees... so considering that, its not that expensive.
The Tiger's Nest is simply amazing..... But it must've been expensive to travel within Bhutan for the video maker.... 200 USD a day+ all other travelling expenses?
@zumwane Yes, unfortunately Bhutan is an expensive destination. But usually the 200 USD already cover (simple) accommodations and transportation especially if you travel within a group. On the other hand it has it's positive side effects that tourism is quite strictly limited. Bhutan is amazing and the people over there are one of a kind.
wow they like a mix of chinese and indian. they look like chinese but their language and music sound like indian. their food is like indian too right? with lots of pepper powder.
@MrDelightfulPink - TRUST ME. INDIANS are farrrr from looking like this. indians don't have the MONGOLIAN LOOKS. most of the asian people eats SPICY foods does not make them like INDIAN FOODS. u must have been too influenced on INDIAN. the SONG AND MUSIC THEY HAVE IS SOO NOT INDIAN LIKE. ITS MORE RELAXING AND TRADITIONAL TYPE. indians are more like dancing types.
Just drag your mouse (but don't click) at the bottom of the small screen above (just above Like, Add to, Share). A option bar will popup giving you choice to play/pause, volume. On the right hand corner of same bar, you will see arrows in four directions to indicate full screen. Click on it and there you go buddy.

How is the Tiger's Nest accessed? When was it built? Does someone permanently reside in the Tiger's Nest?

Amazing place. Similar but not quite as Awesome as Nepal but why are all the people wearing similar dresses.. :S.
shrijitkoirala 6 months ago
@shrijitkoirala They are obligated by law to wear the traditional dress. Even though this is handled less strict from year to year.
