@Disaveli I'm not being harsh, I just think the British do express themselves more intelligently, that's not to say the US is worthless, or that there are no intelligent people in America, that is definitely not true-- but the genetic American is generally a lot more consumerist than intelligent. I could go into depth on what I think American values are, but intellect I've never seen make the list. Once again that's not to say cultural values alone determine a person's character.

@shalomyo U can put it down as an argument but to win it will require a different angle of approach. During the course of the last centuries we witnessed a great deal of attacks and conter attacks from different part regions of the world, but it never happened in the history of mankind a group of people who gave up their land without a fight, ISAF came by air and with tanks and eventually they will go back by air & in plastic bags & the Talibans will remain as a credible threat to the west.

There I attempted some german, but I think our soldier's aren't at fault every nation needs people to defend them, I think the problem is found in a consumerist/media culture and sheltered lifestyle. It's been globally attributed to America but is becoming common worldwide.

The canadian forces don't hate the americans because of that incident, thanks to american planes and helicopters, all coalition forces have the comfort of knowing that backup is always at hand in sticky situations! they wouldnt have a chance without one another. Friendly fire incidents have always and will always happen. Its a fact of war. No matter how skilled pilots and soldiers are, things like these happen!

War is a hectic place when bullets are flying over your head or its your job to cover another unit then you cant wait a while to see if the target is friendly or hostile. Sometimes you have to fire if friendlys are in a enemy held position. You cant take the chance.

Everyone has friendly fire incidents buddy. EVERYONE. British killed a few Dutch troops a little while back. A British tank blew a fellow British tank up in 2003 (I think it was '03) there are plenty of them on all sides, but yes, the US has most of them. Mainly because the US has the largest force there.

Even sometimes your objectives. When delta force was in somolia they had to capture a building so they got SOAR to fire at it. All 70 objectives were killed. Its great to have you guys in the fight but I bet in both wars americans have easily killed over 200 friendlies.

Even with being run and gun, like 322 said the ratio of american soldiers to allies on the ground is substantially greater. US forces might be run and gun but in basic they teach us how to distunguish on the go. And i bet you have never been in an apache before, target acquisition is not easy no matter how advanced the technology, especially in unconventional warfare.

No thats incorrect.. you have to think about a few things before you "point and shoot" its not easy.. 1. distance the further away they are the more difficult shot. if your enemy is 1click out from your position you have to be very steady aim a bit above your target(the bullet starts dropping at some point) 2. if the target is moving you should also consider that before firing! fire in front of your targets direction(except when running away or towards your position) fire in front of your target

and yes i am fully aware it all depends on what weapon you are using.. and not many weapons or shooters can make an effective shot 1 click away.. and also consider windspeed/velocity! 3. when you fire your rifle/pistol/machinegun squeze dont pull if you pull the shot will be inaccurate if you squeze the shot will be much more accurate! 4. are you in cover? if not reconsider shooting because if you dont hit that target he might return fire and thats shit if his a better shooter than you are!
