Have you ever seen a good action movie that does not have at least one beautiful woman? @TheInstantClassic1 There is not a single one video game character that is anywhere near as developed as a movie character. Keep that in mind while comparing them. The problem with Wesker is that his fighting skills are copied from Neo while his character itself resembles Agent Smith. If you think that a misanthropic character is cool then it is your problem. Wesker reminds me of a mixture of Agent Smith from the Matrix, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, and for some reason Saint Dane from the Pendragon series (then again, Saint Dane was made b4 Seph and Albert, so maybe it's the other way around)
This may have already been said, but Wesker didn't die at the end of the game. No way. I mean, he was in lava for how long, and he was fine. But oh no, when he takes two rocket lanchers to the face, he just collapases into the lava and dies? How in the hell does anyone believe that?! No offence you you do, I just fail to see how. @DeidaxAnime Completely agree. I found it stupid that he would die like that (and was it just me, or was that volcano really random? ¬.¬), but supposedly it was confirmed by Masachika Kawata (the producer, I think) that he did, in fact, die. So maybe it was a clone or something.

But the death scene itself seems brilliant to me: Exploding because of two RPGs while being burnt to death in a volcano... and his last word: CHHHRIIIIISSSSSSS-epic. This is one of my favourite scenes in RE 5 :)

The fight leading up to his death was good, it was the two rocket lanchers to the face that sucked. I don't really think the lava had much to do with it, tho fire is Uroboros weakeness.
I think that, if it really was him, then maybe the Uroboros could still be in his system, and if he could ever get his looks back to nornal, it would take forever, but it is possible.... But let me ask you this: Have you played "Lost in Nightmares"? That may offer a plausible explaination.
Yes, I played Lost in Nightmares, I know about the Wesker children, and thats why I think those are a reason Wesker is dead (lets just assume this IS Albert Wesker and no clone or something): Spencer said Albert is the only survivor, but what if he made a mistake? I think another Wesker child could have survived and now lives undercover to be the protagonist of RE 6 (just a theory though) so Capcom would only need Albert for another RE 1 remake or something
And as for not being being a total ass, I'm not kind of person but I'm always afraid that will happen to me, but I am very passionate about this and it's nice having people share their ideas and challenge mine in a civil way. It's the only way people grow. And besides, it makes me have to think about my own views and its just nice to disscuss this sort of thing.
Well, the Wesker children could all be the same person, or at least have a semi-connected mind, going with the Wesker Children/clone theory, which I think is one of the more likely cases. Or maybe he was watching unseen? Or an ally was watching? IDK. I do think that Spencer was wrong about them all being dead, especially perhaps Alex. Yeah, I know Alex is missing, and that can be infered in Lost in Nightmares as well, when you read either Spencer's memoirs 3 or 4, in the room with the RE4 trap and the computer. @AlbertTheWesker Resident Evil is of course an action game and i have never denied that. But action without an interesting plot would be brainless and action without attractive women would be boring. Have you ever seen a good action movie that does not have at least one beautiful woman? The point is, you can't sell your product if you don't appeal to the consumers' imagination, which is also of sexual nature.

It was you who linked the game and the plot itself to the word gay. Everything I said about relationships and women did not refer to this game but to the action genre in general. @TheInstantClassic1 There is not a single one video game character that is anywhere near as developed as a movie character. Keep that in mind while comparing them. The problem with Wesker is that his fighting skills are copied from Neo while his character itself resembles Agent Smith. If you think that a misanthropic character is cool then it is your problem. And by the way, Wesker will never be as popular as Neo.

I prefer the pervious resident evil games, the zombies scared me more, the only thing that scared me in resi evil 5 was when i ran out of ammo and the chainsaw guy chased me after he got back up. I will miss Albert Wesker though

This may have already been said, but Wesker didn't die at the end of the game. No way. I mean, he was in lava for how long, and he was fine. But oh no, when he takes two rocket lanchers to the face, he just collapases into the lava and dies? How in the hell does anyone believe that?! No offence you you do, I just fail to see how. Besides, I doubt that that was even the real Wesker. I'm thinking a clone, or maybe anoother faked death, idk, but that was not him, and if was, he's not really dead!

@DeidaxAnime Completely agree. I found it stupid that he would die like that (and was it just me, or was that volcano really random? ¬.¬), but supposedly it was confirmed by Masachika Kawata (the producer, I think) that he did, in fact, die. So maybe it was a clone or something.
I don't know, but RE won't be the same without him and Capcom will realize that sooner or later. They'll probably bring him back just for better marketing :P
Oh, and my fav. line was "Complete Global Saturation" :D

I personally think his death was epic and could have not been much better BUT Sheva being one of his murderers kinda sucks, I mean, her first Resident Evil and she already kills Albert Wesker?No way... But the death scene itself seems brilliant to me: Exploding because of two RPGs while being burnt to death in a volcano... and his last word: CHHHRIIIIISSSSSSS-epic. This is one of my favourite scenes in RE 5 :)

The fight leading up to his death was good, it was the two rocket lanchers to the face that sucked. I don't really think the lava had much to do with it, tho fire is Uroboros weakeness.
I think that, if it really was him, then maybe the Uroboros could still be in his system, and if he could ever get his looks back to nornal, it would take forever, but it is possible.... But let me ask you this: Have you played "Lost in Nightmares"? That may offer a plausible explaination.

Yes, I played Lost in Nightmares, I know about the Wesker children, and thats why I think those are a reason Wesker is dead (lets just assume this IS Albert Wesker and no clone or something): Spencer said Albert is the only survivor, but what if he made a mistake? I think another Wesker child could have survived and now lives undercover to be the protagonist of RE 6 (just a theory though) so Capcom would only need Albert for another RE 1 remake or something

Well, the Wesker children could all be the same person, or at least have a semi-connected mind, going with the Wesker Children/clone theory, which I think is one of the more likely cases. Or maybe he was watching unseen? Or an ally was watching? IDK. I do think that Spencer was wrong about them all being dead, especially perhaps Alex. I bet that's what RE6 will be about, because why else bring all that up suddenly after all this time, if that's what your getting at.

Ah, my Resi Holy Book (close enough to me), the Resident Evil Wiki. Yeah, I know Alex is missing, and that can be infered in Lost in Nightmares as well, when you read either Spencer's memoirs 3 or 4, in the room with the RE4 trap and the computer. That's what I ment in my last comment, in the last sentence. Sorry that wasn't clear. But this wait for RE6 is unbearable, and I can't even play some of the newer games while I wait because I don't have a current Nintendo.
