@nulos00 The Transrapid is made in Germany (siemens / krupps) and run on experimental ways since the 80's. The Transrapid was sold to china for High speed link in shangai. It's the onlyest commercial line. Japanes have maid the Maglev. It's another magnetic train, but using supra conductors. It reach 582 km/h, wich that make the fastet train in the world (non conventionnal). But, in fact, magnetic trains are not a really good solution, because they can't go on the normal ways.
@nulos00 the electromagnetic train is the Transrapid and is located in Lathen, Germany. It's not in commercial service and the project will be phased out.
@PhantomTF The MagLev (Magnetic Levitation) train was first created and tested in Germany but is now used in China (Beijing) and Taiwan already. Also, they did not directly say that rail travel is more dangerous in the US, but they did stress how common level crossings are here and the risks involved. They also mentioned some of the dangerous cargo transported by train in the USA.
Bravo!

Strange to find that at the end it was made for 'English' in English. Still, it is good practice!

This was fantastic, and I'm glad I understood most of it. The security advances are amazing. Is anyone willing to answer a few questions?
- Where did the ICE crash in Germany occur?
- Is the eletromagnetic train real, and where is it located? It looks like it had DB logo; is it German?
- Did the video say that train travel in the US is more dangerous than in Europe?
PhantomTF 2 years ago
- eschede, beetween munich to hambourg
- no the electromagnetic train is surely located in japan or in tawain
-i don't think so ... but according to me, train accidents in europe are less murder than in US
