hey man I got a $1000 to spend. and I was wondering if I should save up for the Versa Max which is like $1299 at my local remington store, or should I just get the 1187 for $680 at walmart?
@dclipe kind of... not really... Idk if i had that much money to buy a shotgun I wouldnt get an 1187, the versa max may be good and there are definitely other good ones out there. its more of personal preference really.

@dclipe Benelli makes amazing shotguns but I've heard the biggest complaint is if something needs to be fixed, back to Italy it goes, over a month before you get it back
@pirates6633 ? when firing it wont go back? when trying to charge it it wont go back? when trying to reassemble it wont go back? your a bit to vague...
@Jizle05 super mags are a little bit different from what i understand but if its not resetting the trigger and hammer after you cock it id just take it down again and see if it still does it after reassembly.
When you get it all put back together and check it, shouldn't it be making that clicking sound every time you cock it back and pulling the trigger? Idk if it did and I just didn't hear it...
@MrHELIFLYER1 honestly i cant say ive ever felt one up before. cant say whether or not its a doozy to take down, but youtube and firearm forums are your best friend when it comes to figuring that sort of thing out.

Ok, well I just got an 11-87 super mag camo and when I went to put it together from the box I DID NOT get that hammer sound when I pull the trigger.
Any suggestions on why that is??

11--87. 1100-870 .Are the barrels interchangeable.

@jauchiu unfortunately not. the cuts for the extractor and the seals on the connection for the magazine tube are different.
