  • nice tone, but work on your timing

  • SHUGGIE OTIS at the Mint

  • nice!

  • Thats pretty damn bright for a neck pickup lol

  • Real real nice!

  • That was Great My Friend:)Peace:)

    Bluesy

  • right on!... sounded awsome, keep up the rockin' blues!.. cheer, Jay

  • Killer tone, man. I mean, really killer.

Are the mules Alnico II or IV? I've been wanting to revamp my Gibson Lucille and the mules are in the lead for pickups.

I can't believe that's your neck pickup. That's the type of biting tone I've been looking for.

Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated.

  • You can get them in Alnico II or IV. Those are Alnico IVs. That's the clean on my amp with the Boss Blues Driver set with a little dirt.

  • Those are alnico IV. I'm also using a boss blues driver set with a little break up.

  • nice tone!

  • Thank you! This was before I put the CTS pots and Vitamin Q caps.

  • I just put CTS pots and Vitamin Q caps in an Epi LP that I have. They make a world of difference, to be sure.

    Nice playing, by the way.

  • Heavy metal Karaoke! I have that same shirt!

  • Thanks for the comment Stow. I accidently erased it when I tried to reply to your comment. I hit remove instead of reply.

  • See you're studying your Blues Chops, like your sound, you got great tone, nice vibrato. Greetings, thanks for checkin me out, you're always welcome, greets Victor.

  • Thanks!

Learning blues licks is alot harder than learning shred in my opinion. The amount of restraint and feel.

  • Good playing- whenever I play albert king licks I like to switch it over to the middle position and pick with my fingers, it always works to get his sound

  • Learning this song is what made me change my gibson pick ups. I had the 500t and 496r before. These Bare Knuckle pick ups are awesome.

I like playing in the middle position and rolling the volume on the neck pup down halfway to get some killer Page tones.

  • that neck pickup is just nasty

  • Great Sound!!!!!Albert King is my #1 Idol,His Sound and Spirit will Live on Forever!!!!The Ultimate Lefty Upside Down Blues Man!!!!Long Live The Blues!!!!!

  • Bareknuckle calibrated Mule set.

  • The licks sound a little odd out of context, and you come across as the type of player that gets a little stiff fingered in front of a microphone. Throw a nice backing track under that and relax a little while you play, and you'll be a couple of steps towards something special!

  • Thanks for the comments everyone!!!

BringBackBlues, I have the amp cranked, Bass,Treble,Mids at 12 O'clock, and then I dialed in a tone on my Boss Blues Driver pedal with a little bit of break up.

  • Omg man, how did you get so much tone on your neck pickup, just crazy, great job man.

  • 5 stars from Stratman, love that tone.

  • i'd love to hear the bridge pickup on the same amp settings (=*

  • sounds great man..a real Page SG tone you have there! I have soen BKP PAF clones too!

  • Great jab man. Lovin the blues!

  • Very nice indeed.

  • nice one mate!!!

and the tuner in the backgroun is really fun to watch... lol

  • Sounds like mine ;) This is _tom_ off the BK forum by the way.
