  • That made more sense than most of the crap on youtube. Thanks.

  • @asylumsquad Well not to be negative or anything, but print wasn't actually mentioned.

As most screen resolutions were 72DPI, anything over the 75 doesn't really notice much, in quality, though more modern displays display at 96DPI.

If a tutorial for making a web comic from start to print were made, then I think that would be of interest to a lot of people too.

  • snooze...

  • very informative

  • I'm startin' on one today! Has mines tablet and paint.net and is all i may need!!

  • Finally someone Kows what there talking about wacth my comic soon ok yalll!!

  • i like this guy ;P

  • same

  • Nice vid. I made this almost as you, however nowadays I only draw my (Web-)Comics only with my Wacom Graphtablet, which is really saving me some time and the quality is also better.

(you need a really good scanner to catch your drawing nice and vothout any other noises... which you surely can make somehow go *poof*, but still - it's additional work)

  • so all i need is a scanner and of course a computer right? i letter my own comics, so do i still need photoshop?

  • i know, i'm too broke to even get photoshop.

  • yeah the price is unbelievable D:

i mean, how am i suppose to keep up with it? by the time i can save up enough to get it a freakin' new photoshop twice as good is gonna come out, rendering the old one obsolete.

  • @21centuryg Get Gimp. It's free.

  • Most of the material here is very accurate, but what I really dig is this guy's classic deadpan delivery.

(But by the way, dude, web standard DPI is 72, not 75.)

  • Not bad. I'm thinking of making a webcomic, and this video helped clarify a few things.

    So thanks

  • what were the names of those websites at the end?
