Mr. Bernie, if im making a 4 plait kangaroo whip, what width should the third and fourth layer be for 8 and 12 strand whip. No bolsters just like you do? Thanks
Howdy from South Carolina, USA. Just wanted to say thanks for the video. I have the same small Aussie Strander like yours, I love it. I'd like to make the lace trimming tool like yours. Couldn't find the video but I'll keep looking. Thanks again. (Tom)
... Awesome demo by the way! Been reading whip making by Ron Edwards, and i gotta say it makes it much easier to actually watch someone than trying to pull it out of older books.
@bighousedaddy That's right Ken. The other end of the jig is a resizing tool but because I have two of them I use one for resizing and the other for beveling. Savesme having to change the blade from side to side.If you take a look at video number one on this subject you will see how I use the other tool to resize my strands. You don't need to make these out of metal, wood is just as good as I show in the how to make a beveler video.

@TheDraykeTslo Glad the videos are of some help and the music in the background is from my era, 50's and 60's. I think they call it retro nowadays.
Kind Regards
Bernie.

So its just anything that will work as a guide... Just make it so it adjusts... What is the other end of the jig and how does it work?

Very nice... I want to make my own beveler... where can I get the guide that you tapped on to adjust the width of the lace?
